Should we nerf every special weapon so that none of them are OHK? I can’t speak for everyone but I’ve always gotten more primary kills than special kills. I go entire games without using my shotgun. Rushing shotgun players aren’t good. They’re definitely annoying but they aren’t a real problem once you recognize their pattern. Also, I don’t get a lot of out right shotgun kills. It’s a defensive and clean up weapon with 6.5 meters of range, max. Slugs are about 11, sidearms around 15ish and idk about fusions because I’ve never used one in PVP. HC/SG players manage space very well. As a HC/sniper main, I’m sure you understand the importance and advantage that spacing gives you over other players. Lastly, you can do everything right and still get -blam!- over by pellet RNG and bad connections. If you half a meter past your max range, the pellets either whiff or do partial damage. It’s the quintessential high risk high reward weapon.

Make fusions not one shot. Snipers not one shot on headshot. Such a moronic idea.

Alright, make shottys primary in PvP then or double the ammo given. Fusions are stronger than shottys, the shotty used is condition just because of well and bubble. Traces had their time and are still used, there is a single rocket sidearm so a meta for them would be boring.
