Good evening everybody! This is Aifos coming to you alive from New Meridian, where we’re getting a visit from the one and only princess of the Canopy Kingdom: Umbrella! [spoiler]Wait, what’s that? There are [i]two[/i] princesses? Oh whatever! Nobody here knows enough about Skullgirls lore to correct me on that! Besides, the other one’s already here![/spoiler] That’s right, Umbrella has officially released in Skullgirls 2nd Encore*, and Skullgirls Mobile! While she may look sweet, and harmless, don’t be fooled, for Umbrella has her best friend & living weapon with her at all times; Hungern! Hungern has a wide array of magical powers to help out with Umbrella’s fights; he can shapeshift to reach up and strike opponents, shoot out bubbles to trap opponents, eyeballs to explode in their faces, and eyeballs within bubbles for the best of both worlds! Not to mention Hungern’s insatiable appetite, letting him chomp down opponents whole (thankfully followed by spitting them out)! But, having such a gluttonous friend does come with a downside. If Hungern isn’t properly fed, Umbrella will be much weaker than usual, but you don’t want to feed him too much, either. Balancing his hunger meter is key to playing Umbrella effectively! And of course, this DLC comes with Umbrella’s story mode, though it’s currently not voice acted. All DLC story modes will receive one big voice actor update after all DLC are released. But that’s allfor now fo- Huh? What’s that? I’m getting a report saying.. *gasp* [url=https://youtu.be/y0v2-lqPQJY]Umbrella is the Skullgirl!?[/url] That’s right, exclusive to owner’s of the season pass, Umbrella will have a Skullgirl themed alternate costume & voice pack! While both can be equipped separately, equipping both at the same time adds a plethora of new effects, including; -A tiny Skull Heart following Umbrella around -Many of her attacks get some new necromancy-themed visual effects, like Hungern spitting out bones. -A skeleton. How spooky! [b][u]Tl;dr? Here’s my point![/u][/b] After 10 years, Umbrella (who was originally planned for tge initial release) has finally joined Skullgirls as the 2nd of 4 new DLC characters!
