Well, accounts flags are manually reviewed so if a report goes to Bungie and they see a steering wheel triggered your account they will remove the flag and update their system accordingly.

I understand, sometimes on a weekend I play Forza Horizon with the G920 Driving Force steering wheel and I was afraid that BattlEye would think it was something illegal, but as it is something licensed from Microsoft, there should be no problem with any anticheat. huh?
