My idea for this is a simple multiplayer rpg, nothing fancy or crazy in depth but just a game for fun with friends, something focused on strength around the team, which means not a cakewalk but also not souls-level insanity. For classes I have some simplistic ideas. Attacker (Foot Soldier), the DPS, high damage high risk, a quick skirmisher type fighter with a focus around close range attacks and quick damage as well as agility. Defender (Knight), someone who can either employ a shield to block attacks and shield teammates, heavier attacks with focus on armor and helping calculate the team coordination. Offensive support (Ranged/Mage) Employing longer range attacks and skills as opposed to pure melee combat, the idea would be extra firepower and useful team assists. Defensive support (Healer) Focus on team and team strength, less combat focus, few attacks but can also block or employ some magic to assist the team, while also being able to heal whether individual heals or team heals. I could imagine it in some ways being like Baldur's Gate or ESO for team composition, but simpler, and more like a Nintendo-esque game with some added loot and perhaps skills to earn...

They seem a little too simple. Like, the idea is something easy to pick up, but with enough depth to be hard to master, but nothing about these classes sticks out to me that way. Plus the Offensive Support loses their time beam! Why would you take the time beam away? T-T I do think I'm leaning towards everyone using long-ranged combat, though. If there is melee combat, however, I'll probably be aiming for a feel similar to Death's Door. That game feels so smooth.

 • I was leaning too much into ESO, I'm a Bethesda nerd. I was generalizing things without getting too specific.

 • Haha, I’m able to generalize! Specifics are what I’m asking for. :p
