Lost account details
I'm trying to deactivate steam account from cross play because unfortunately I don't have access to it anymore I would like to add different account.
I read various articles on here I believe one time you was allowed to change it on here but not anymore I also messaged steam didn't get far.
Will we be able sometime in future or is there any phone verification if someone else trys to log in into my steam account.
It worries me someone gets hold of my old info on steam logs in and deletes my characters etc...

2 RepliesHey there, Thank you for reporting. Unfortunately, you will need to be able to log in to any account you want to unlink. We can't force any unlink to an account you don't have access. You will have to work with Steam to reaccess it and then unlink the account.

not going to happen. you HAVE to be able to authenticate any/all accounts in order to un-link it. you'll have to work with steam to recover it or you are out of luck.
