Why would anyone choose vanilla ice cream
Its such a bland flavor and there are better flavors out there. Even cookies and cream is better because it has oreo like chunks in it.

I cannot eat chocolate ice cream unless there is vanilla with it. Mad gross. Vanilla is beautifully simple. It’s a light flavor that goes well with lots of things

Vanilla in and of itself is the simple, basic, perfect flavor that doesn't need embellishment to be good. Even your chocolate ice cream still has vanilla in it, so you're just confusing the superior flavor of the vanilla with the color of the brown ice cream as better.

It’s great with things, like a piece of cake or pie, but I’d never have it on its own. It’s like custard in that regard.

Vanilla is only good as a base for certain topping/mix-in combinations. If you're gonna go with plain ice cream, both vanilla [i]and[/i] chocolate are massively overrated.

Because it's simple and sweet. Chocolate is straight up nasty, and Strawberry has a bit of a zest to it. Cookies and cream has little cookie chunks, but if I'm eating ice cream I generally don't want a crunch. Mint choco can be alright, but you have to be in the mood; it's definitely not an any occasion ice cream. But vanilla is just simple and sweet. No crunch, no zest, it's not chocolate which is always a plus, and it works for any occasion unlike mint choco chip.

I say this as a connoisseur of bougie ice cream brands and crazy flavors, but simple vanilla is great sometimes. I do still think people who exclusively like vanilla are well, vanilla. Anyways, After's Ube Brownie > every flavor on earth -
Why would anyone choose chocolate? Not even good. But a bar of dark chocolate with sea salt? Really good. Anyway the best ice cream is green tea, no question about it

I’ll agree that vanilla by itself doesn’t slap, but you get it when you’re mixing other things into it like candy toppings or syrups. You don’t want to get like chocolate ice cream with all those toppings, too sweet. Vanilla is a great mediator for the sweet toppings.
