    Special ammo meter was the the best. But hey Bungie analytics showed casuals cant get primary weapon kills, so we have to cater to them and not the ppl that actually play PvP right?

      • I think if the previous system (respawn system) was tweaked so that it was just one ammo brick on spawn and only primary kills dropped bricks, we would probably have the perfect ammo economy. Special kills don’t give you more special, preventing spam with easy one shot weapons, and you only get special with primary kills, forcing primary gunplay.

            Yeah, not a fan of boxes. They are tactically inconvenient and not in an interesting or fun way, and cause weird mid game hiccups to the flow of a match.

              • They're both horrible. Special was fine the way it was before March 5th, after that update pvp has been the worst it's ever been.

                • body drops >>> ammo meter > creates the green ammo should drop from headshot primary kills or exotic weapon kills on enemy bodies existing for you and the entire enemy team.. this forcing you to have to either push or bait the ammo bricks for more primary kills it also means if your next to a teammate and they die you probably get green ammo encouraging team play it also makes it so teammates cant steal your ammo bricks it also makes exotics abit nicer to use in PVP its also an indirect buff to reload perks like auto loading and shoot to loot even spark of momentum as there are now green ammo bricks on the ground i think overall this would be good for PVP and alot better then what we have gotten so far some exotics that use green ammo need some changes to reflect this new sandbox.. forerunner should get less green then say erianas vow for example or even something like current mountain top as it cant even one shot anymore

                  • Both sucks. The only saving grace of special ammo in PvP was that it was predictable. When everyone has two shots, you could - at least in 3v3 - bait them out and be sure, whether you deal with special weapons or primary. Both special meter and crates dont only make the current economy unpredictable, but reward the team that is already playing better with more special. If Bungie wanted to reduce the impact of special weapons in PvP, all they had to do was reduce the spawn amount and remove drops. Now they make the gameplay even more campy, when you always have to expect that the opponent has a loaded shotgun.

                    • I agree, although the meter system still needs some major QoL improvements I preferred the one that gave you 2 bullets instead of 1, but charged slower Also, it needs some visual improvements, for starters: • Make the icon LOOK like the Special ammo icon • Make the bar more prominent, make it feel like it BELONGS there • Rename the bar from the long -blam!- Special Ammo Transmat to just Special Ammo

                    • Meter system not that bad just need some adjustments especially some on ammo spawning with certain weapons making it more punishing then forgiveness Shotgun 1 Snipers 2 Sidearm 2-3 Fusion 1 Don't like the previous system because players abused special weapons and used them as primary by neglecting what they was intended for as secondaries
