As part of our continuing mission to bombard the Bungie.next Beta with your better salvos of feedback, we’ve deployed another update. If you take a deep inhale, you can smell the fresh code. It smells like… victory. In keeping with our pledge to keep you slightly briefed on our grand conspiracy to reinvent your home in our domain, a list of the more apparent changes are found below.
First, some highlights for this new version. Here are the fixes we think you’ll be most excited about…
Throw your voice into a specific Forum Category. We’ve added some structure to the party, thus preserving the unique discussion parlors that you’ve come to know and love. Forum Categories are exclusive buckets of conversation – so you’ll only be able to pick one. They can be selected from a dropdown menu as you draft a Topic. Yes, there’s a reservoir for The Flood. You still have the ability to apply tags to each post, but you won’t be able to use the official tags that drive the Categories.
Please Note: Older topics will still straddle multiple categories. New ones won't.
We’re dark (again) bro. One or two of you may have mentioned that they missed the smoky aesthetic of the old and busted Bungie.net. We can’t imagine why, but we love you way too much to let such polite feedback float away on the breeze. To turn out your respective lights, visit the Display options on the Settings page under your profile. That should hold you over until the end of the beta.
Please Note: You may find holes in the new dark theme. Keep Calm and Report to #Feedback.
If you crave every last detail, here’s the rest of the changes (some large, some small):
-you can now filter the Activity feed by the people you’re following
-the Social feed on the front page displays the entire entry
-the autocomplete no longer returns duplicate users
-email addresses are now a hidden value on your profile page
-when you sign out of your account on the profile page, it goes away
-links on the careers page have been fixed
-fixed the display for all time latest topics
-the navigation bar for the mobile view scrolls when zoomed in
-Ninjas can edit replies to official posts
-a new menu for Display Options is available in Settings
-the reply button now appears when you access a forum reply via permalink
-issues with capitalized file extensions for embedded have been fixed
-the FORUMS link at the top of the display leads to the Categories menu
-forum titles are now active links that refresh the Topic index
That’s all for now, and that’s enough. This was not the first to update to Bungie.next. It won’t be the last. We’re still tinkering with the controls on the bridge, and there are still items on your wish list that are being made real. Some fixes just take longer than others.
Keep the chatter coming. Let us know how the new changes impact your experience.

Give us the option to go back to the old layout. Remember Destiny is not the only game you guys created

Ayy lmao

Hey it's Dolph!

Everyone please stop posting Destiny-related comments. This article is talking about the bungie.net (bungie.next) Beta from two years ago. The beta is over, and the topic is kind of irrelevant now. Please stop.

DeeJ, while everyone's like Buff this and Nerf that, maybe you could put in a real suggestion to the dev team, like adding an option to turn off the terribly skill hampering auto aim you guys implemented.

I've traveled here from the past to see if people notice this in the future and yes that's right I can use my time machine for whatever mundane activities I want

Sort this game out please!! You've made something that gets old far too quick. You paid how much to make this, there's barely anything available and what is available can be completed in hours/minutes depending on whether you're levelling or doing a simple raid!!!! Raids taking around 20mins to an hour depending if you're playing with potatoes. Levelling from 1 to 27-30 in around 8hours. Wtf is that about, far too easy! And your prices for dlc are so expensive. UK price is double that of the US, and the dlc, we get -blam!- all. The teams who came together to make this game FAILED! Its small, nothing new, pricey, easy to complete whether its levelling or doing a strike/raid. No wonder all I keep hearing is we gave destiny a go, was disappointed after a month playing, then gave it a chance for the dlc, we've seen what's available and it's nothing compared to what we were told it was going to be before purchasing the game or the dlc. Think I'll trade it in. Future of gaming!? Tried to be more of a pc style game but on a console!? Sure, you're on the right track with the raiding etc but the quantity and the way you've gone about it isn't well thought. Too many cheeses, too short, too easy to complete. Bored within a few weeks. Make it a grind, make it lengthy, make it difficult to level and raid!! Forget about the people complaining they don't get a legendary drop or exotic, forget about them saying this is too hard! They are moaning tools who will only end up moaning saying the games now boring once they have everything. Which let's face it, you can have basically everything you want in no time. This game is a waste. Even the open world has nothing to offer. The planets are small, barely anyone on them, the mobs present no challenge and no random world bosses in a semi open world game! Fail! I myself and many others could have made a better game with half the costs. Fact!

DeeJ why are you posting this article?
