Anyone else use the sniper heat sensor thing ? Sign and comment.
A couple of days ago on Last Resort I found myself looking through the green thing on the sniper, and realised it could actually be rather useful.
Can you see active camo through it ?
And are there any stories of when it's helped anyone?

halo 1- the scope was just a green line halo 2- the scope was a clear color HD screen :) halo 3- sorta both of them put together a green screen sry just had to point that out and uhhh ill see if it can be used against camo d00ds

The light-bending camouflage generators don't block heat; then actually generate it. [Edited on 03.09.2008 5:10 PM PDT]

Anyway I was just thinking it could mayb help you no-scope from further away then usual and if it can detect camo (which it should really ) then it could be VERY useful for no-scoping those pesky camo users that are running towards you.

In Halo 2 didn't it used to be a color picture instead of looking like night vision?

Yeah, I use it to aim, actually, for kicks a lot. I can see camo all the time anyway, so I never noticed if it helps you see camo. Will check, though :)

I use it sometimes, rarely.. But that's a good thought.. If it detects heat, it should be able to detect camo, someone has to test this!
