This game is definitely not the Destiny 1 game we all loved. We definitely need the original Destiny Game Team back cause Luke Smith, Mark Noseworthy and their team definitely don’t know where they are taking Destiny. They are talking about transparancy but they hid the fact that we dont have any Pennicle weapons this season. Trials of Osiris doesnt have flawless clothes. Vendors dont have new clothes for 3 years in a row. Season pass doesnt have anything I wanna chase. Weapons are basically the same. No new places since Forsaken cause we already had the moon and was way more fun in Destiny one. Story is just blame with stuff that goes away when the dlc ends. Why do I have to do the story each season if at the end everything is just going away. Emblems keep restarting each season so why play stuff if it keeps just reseting each season almost everything. Story seems blame. Raids aren’t fun. Strikes are very long, boring with nothing to chase over them. Whats the point of a Nightfall? Iron banner is way boring with clash over and over with boring and ugly clothes thats recycle, clothes just keeps been recylcle, weapons are getting a retiring day, and Iron banner us boring with clash been the game mode over and over, not everyone wants to go after and focus on some flags, the quests menu keeps been changed and that is something the community doesnt even ask for, exotics keep been nerf over and over, swords got a nerfed, whats the point of going after NF and Recluse if they just keep been nerf because some people whine
and Luke Smith’s team keep nerfing this weapons, exotics ships are the same as blue ships, legendary weapons are all the same, erentil doesnt get nerfed, lord of wolves keeps been ramping, we need more game modes like in Destiny 1, Season arents the answer, season objects that give power is useless do to the fact tat resets each season, lost sectors are a waste of space, Supers were so much better and balanced in Destiny 1, Destiny 1 didn’t catter people that didnt catter casuals and catter more to people that played everyday until Luke Smith came and started giving everything away like the: No Time To Explain and Whisper, that you could only get on certain days and then he said that you could get them everyday, we didnt wanted shaders to collect as he intended in the beginning of Destiny 2(which is an ambarasment to Bungie up to this date), emblems are ugly. WE NEVER NEEDED DESTINY 2 AND TIME KEEPS SAYING THAT ACTIVISION WASNT THE PROBLEM BUT LUKE SMITH AND HIS TEAM. JASON JONES NEEDS TO COME BACK WITH HIS TEAM AND GIVE US THE DESTINY GAME WE ALL LOVED AND DESERVED.

Edited by PapaMurphioli: 6/17/2020 9:20:45 PMThis is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. You are aware that those guys were the reason that D1 was a trash fire, right? That everything wrong with the terrible year one, which was much worse than D2 year one, was because of them, right? Jason Jones is the reason that we got such a shitty game with a shitty story which resulted in Joe Staten leaving and Marty O'Donnell getting fired. Aside from that uninformed statement, every complaint you listed about Destiny 2 was a bigger problem in D1. You need to look back at D1, the game was shit for a whole year with absolutely nothing to theorize over, no loot to chase, terrible meta, mechanic-less raids, no characters to love, the second worst dlc (The Dark Below), the third worst dlc (House of Wolves), exotic sunsetting, etc. Taken King, Luke Smith's expansion, addressed and fixed a lot of these issues (kind of) but it created an even bigger problem, content droughts. Between TTK and ROI, there was ONE update which added a strike and a mission or two. It was heartbreaking to wait MONTHS for such a pathetic content drop. Then ROI hits, ROI was an expansion smaller than Shadowkeep that came with a pretty nice raid, a mediocre story that was only enjoyable because of the surrounding lore, mediocre weapons, the worst meta in Destiny history that resulted in the death of competitive pvp, SRL(a terrible event that no one played because it was horrible at worst and mediocre at best), and an overall disappointment (Don't believe me? Go back into posts from that time and see all the people calling it terrible) until the Age of Triumph update, which was completely unrelated to ROI and only happened because D2 was launching in the following September. Destiny 2 with it's big expansion a year and smaller seasons in between is a much better design decision that will only improve from here on out. Seasons prevent content droughts that TTK and ROI had and progress the story much faster than the two completely unrelated tiny dlc's and the big expansion model they had previously. They also allow more frequent scheduled sandbox updates which shifts metas around making the game feel more fresh. Sure there are bound to be some shit seasons, but even though the worst season (Worthy) was awful, it was miles ahead of The Dark Below and Curse of Osiris. TL;DR: You must have not played D1 outside of the Age of triumph or if you did you have no memory of the state of the game or it's insanely mundane grind that gives Curse of Osiris a run for it's money. D2 right now, as bad as it was with worthy, was miles ahead of a majority of D1 and I hope you look back at the posts from that dark time to get a nice feel of how good we have it now in comparison.
