Parade Armour cost is too high
The parade armour costs 150 trophies per character. I think that’s too high. Should either be awarded as we gain rank with Shaxx or be no more than 10 trophies per piece (max 50 per character). It’s made even worse by only being the armour and not including the ornaments.

5 RepliesIt’s defining a bit much. For everyone here saying it’s not a big deal, let’s assume you’re a basic player grinding normal mode. You get 3 tokens for every 10 waves (2 from chest + 1 from the objective). I’ll also include 5 (1 from each daily bounty + the weekly Onslaught bounty). It’s 150 tokens to buy an armor set. That means 50 sets of 10 waves. Each wave is about a minute long. (It’s usually a little longer, but this makes math simple). That means you’re looking at 500 minutes of playtime for 1 armor set - or about 8 hours and 20 minutes of continuous grinding. You get 1 set for basically free if you include the tokens from Shax rankup. So you’re looking at 16 hours and 40 minutes of continuous grinding. I think I’m willing to say that’s a bit much for an armor set that’s just cosmetic.

it's not like it's high stat, unless you like the way it looks or a completionist, use the tokens for chances at your weapon of choice

I mean I’m sitting on 150 easily by doing bounties and just playing the game like normal. Skill issue maybe?

Got them all unlocked in a decent 8 hour play session......is this a good time to say "git gud" because honestly it's not hard. You also have like what? 2 months to grind this activity? Get over yourself.

2 RepliesOh no . Not like you get it from litterally everything. I ranked shaxx to max and bought all armors for 2 classes from only getting those medals from onslaught and nothing else. And only NORMAL difficulty runs.

As soon as I saw the pricetag I decided not to spend any tokens on the chest. Saving up tokens including the ones from Shaxx's track really helped getting to that 450 token amount.

I’ve bought a few weapons. 😂 I still have about 180 tokens in inventory, with 40 more to get from Shaxx rank rewards. I’m not that bothered about getting any of the armour sets. I’m just saying that I think they’re more expensive than they should be.

I played 4 days of the new event and I already had enough saved up to buy one of the sets. What are you doing that you have so few tokens or whatever?

Do the daily bounties, level up Shaxx rep, and just play. You'll get plenty enough trophies in due time. You just gotta remember that this event still has over a month left. Shaxx has multiple large sums of trophies at certain ranks, and you can get some from doing his bounties too. Think about it this way, if you get about 2 or 3 every 10 waves, then let's just say casually you'll play an average of just 30 waves a day, that's 6 to 9 a day from that. Then there's a total of 100 trophies from Shaxx's rep. So far that's coming up to about 340 to 460 over just 40 days (which is still not as long as the event will last), but there's more ways too. Assuming you do at least just 2 of Shaxx's bounties a day and 2 of Arcite's weekly bounties, that's another 64ish, but then you also can get them from other game modes, which could easily add up over time. Now what I've stated here is very very lowball amounts at playing extremely casually, but consistently. If you just play the game and participate consistently, you should have no problem amassing at least 450 trophies by the end of the event. If you want it, just work for it. That's all it takes. Oh yeah, and it also takes a bit of willpower to not buy weapons for trophies until after you get all the armor.
