I honestly felt Bungie has made abilities worse overall rather than just Crucible ever since Season of the Deep. Constant nerfs and not too noticable buffs all for the same of forcing a gun meta. Stop forcing a meta Bungie. Let us use what we want to use. If a person wants to do an ability build, let them.

Agreed. Imo stasis gets the worse of it. This seasons stasis "buffs" were slightly worse for stasis than good. And in deep it got a MASSIVE nerf when it needed a buff.

Even Hunter got the biggest nerf in my opinion. Mask of Bakris use to buff the damage of EVERYTHING against enemies that were slowed/frozen after the dodge, including Duskfield, the melee, and Silence and Squall. Now it's those useless surge mods that have been proven to be a dps nerf.

If it os, I'm going to be livid because all my builds are based around utilizing those. -
Surge mods don't necessarily nerf, but they are worse than what we could have if Bungie wasn't so afraid of us doing actual damage. Last I looked it was basically a 10,000 dps nerf basically when the guy was testing with a rocket launcher. They fact surge mods or basically any damage buff can't stack is so stupid to me and feels like literal anti-synergy in a team based game.

Damn...😓 It makes me wonder how they're going to handle Prismatic, but then again I have an idea that I don't want to accept (because of Bungie's history). I appreciate your response and I apologize for responding late. -
It's fine. Also for Prismatic, I recall seeing that the abilities available in it are somewhat limited to certain things, but otherwise shouldn't change much for basically normal subclass systems.
