needlestorm's target priorities seem to favor minors over majors over bosses

i cast needlestorm in a boss encounter of onslaught, like you do, and instead of hitting the boss, who was closest and centered in my crosshairs, not a single needle hit it - they went mostly into the two white-shielded minibosses to either side and behind him, and a few went into a minor captain to my far right. i've had other supers mostly hit dregs that were close to medium range from the boss but on my screen, i've had the needles bypass the boss in point-blank range and go after minors and majors further away, and i just have to ask what the actual -blam!-? it is already so punishing to main warlock for dps, could you maybe knock whatever this is off? thanks.

 • It’s targeting is a joke. Needlestorm might be the best one and done Super Warlocks have but that would be the case 40% of the time. 60% of the time, the damage from it is wasted so might as well forget about it. But it also shows why Warlocks are more used for Well.
