I think that there should be a way to mark a target for Needlestorm.
Something like. Hitting a major or boss with an arcane needle marks them for 5 seconds and all Needlestorm projectiles will track them.

Would actually be a cool exotic to make all perched threadlings deploy at once and attacked the marked target with extra damage. Also directing the needle storm to a single target.

Same with knives and Blade Barrage.
