Stop putting story in raids. Its the worst content the game can offer. I hated when other guardians beat riven and it affected my game. Dumb decision. Nobody wants to 6 man raid. To many ppl. Too many dumb puzzles. Its a shooting game.

Just because you don’t enjoy something doesn’t make it bad. Raids are the best thing about this game. Stick to strikes if all you want is brainless shooting without any thought.

I'm with you man. I totally get that some people have the time and enjoy the challenge, but I'm not one of them. What I think they ought to do in the next iteration of Destiny is make all weapons and armor available via alternate methods. What they can do to incentivize the hardcore players who want to do the raids is put bling in there that is unavailable elsewhere--armor ornaments, weapon skins, emblems, ships, vehicles, etc.

It’s funny how people project their personal beliefs onto the entire population and assert it as fact without any receipts. If raiding is so unpopular than why are they constantly populated with players - even in the worst droughts? You can literally go onto an LFG site 24hrs a day, 365 days a year and find thousands of people putting together teams.

You've cleared one raid, and it was leviathan and you only have 136 kills in it so you were carried. How does playing the raid make you aware of the percentage of players engaging in it? You realize how stupid you sound? lol You people are dumb as bricks. Bungie has always admitted how low the engagement for raids is. That’s why Guided Games was made and why they revamped it again. Facts of life.

How does hiding the big boss fight behind the activity with the lowest engagement not bad? Dungeons are less important than the finale, apples to oranges. Then trying to equate low engagement among players with people who don’t even play? Now that’s a prime example of stupidity and BDF.

Majority of the playerbase hasnt raided at all and has no intention on doing so. Because no one plays with 5 others on a regular basis consistently unless you create content or stream. Raids have been outdated and only serve to gatekeep solo players from the content. If solo raids were available no one would want to 6man raid. When 1 Percent of your playerbase has raided. It was never good content. Just endgame Overall raids are some of the worst experiences in gaming

This is along the lines of the standard "waaah, I hate playing with other ppl in this multiplayer game" so this content is bad bs as usual. As a cooperative activity, Raids are way better than anything pve Destiny has to offer because the puzzles and required coordination are why more engaging than its un fleshed out easy as **** regular pve. Just because you can't be bothered to coordinate getting 5 other ppl together doesn't make it bad.

People sometimes forget Destiny is a multiplayer game. Co-op is a core gameplay point. People who say it “gatekeeps waaah” don’t understand that it’s encouraging co-op, which is pretty important in a massive multiplayer.

We learned this from the backlash of The Last Wish Raid. The player base was massively upset the raid effected everyone’s story even if they didnt complete it. Lack of matchmaking for raids in game is just dumb. Most ppl play with 1-3 other max in any game looking at a statistical standpoint. Thats why raids fail. Thats why overwatch fails. Ppl play with real friends The average player avoids contact with randoms due to toxicity. The set up of raids is OUTDATED. Puzzles are my personal issue but facts are facts. Your big magical raid is hated and avoided by the large majority of ppl who pay for content btw. It ends up being gatekept content a few like while ithers want to pew pew and enjoy lore with just friends.

No, you're trying to correlate your personal social problems with why you should get raid loot. And you're too wrapped up in your own viewpoint to consider anything else. I've done hundreds of raids both as the leader and as a follower, the vast majority of them have been positive experiences. I'd speculate that you probably have a problem with some form of "social anxiety" and hyper fixate on negative experiences. And that's me being polite and giving you the benefit of the doubt. The content obviously isn't for you. That does not mean it needs to accommodate you. If you choose not engage with them thats your choice and you implicitly accept the consequences of that choice, that means not getting raid loot. The responses to your other post alone should show you that you didn't really have the feel of the room like you thought you did.
