Having fun

Edited by OtterTears: 4/29/2024 2:23:46 AMPeople that say K/D are the typically the worst pvpers. Never play a game for K/D. W is what matters You can go 30-10 and still lose. You’re not gonna remember that 30-10 just as much because the loss hit you even harder. play to win. Know too much of this with all the competitive gaming i did 😅
-
KD is unironically so useless because you can farm KD by using invis hunter or bubble titan and hiding in the back with a scout/pulse and fusion rifle in quickplay. In trials, just teamshot with summoner.
-
My KD because it's a true indicator of my skill and my effort. I feel more fulfilled losing a match while being at the top of the leaderboard than winning a match and not being at the top of the leaderboard.
-
Definitely depends on the gamemode Comp and trials? Win cuz they matter Quick play? KD cuz the win doesn’t necessarily matter
-
Between those two choices, I would pick getting a win. Most important to me, I would like fair and balanced lobbies. I enjoy getting paired with players of a similar skill, along with facing the same.
-
That it has no best in slot pve weapons
-
Honestly I could not care less about winning or losing (at least in qp) mostly because of how little control you have over the outcome of games, no matter how good you play (unless you stack), the lobby balancing will just keep giving you worse and worse teammates to keep the win/loss about even.
-
Not having both of the 0.2-0.8 K/D players on my lobby most games would be the most important thing. It’s been like ice skating uphill this weekend. My final game of the weekend I hit the same treatment with the top 500 rated guy getting the 2 positive k/D players on his side.
-
I wish my winrate were a bit higher than it is.
-
QP : personal performance Comp / Trials : wins
-
Where is the option for whether or not you played well - not the same as just farming kd

Niether I'm just there for a)loot or b)bright dust bounties Because in normal crucible , you get diddly squat for winning, I try to win , but it really doesn't matter In Trials of course the goal is to win, but anywhere else , yeah I don't care either way -
High kills high kd is what I played destiny for but past year because sbmm plagued qp I play trials now which is more chill than qp. So these days winning matters more.
-
Neither. My vote would be for good balanced matches.
-
Winning. Having a high KD and still losing just makes you the best loser. I'd rather be the worst winner than the best loser.

Edited by ELDiablo93010: 4/27/2024 11:54:42 PM
Does it vary depending on game mode?
Neither of your choices actually. For me it’s that the game is fair in balancing and matchmaking. That my team has a fair chance of winning, even if we don’t. Getting curb stomped isn’t fun…but I’m not asking to win. if we were fairly outplayed/outgunned, then it was still a good game. When you look up the chance your team has to win online and it’s only 10%, that’s the problem and what matters most to me.
-
Team balancing would matter more than both combined
-
Dedicated servers, oh wait, nvm
-
The quickest way to end the match. Win or lose, don’t care. K/d doesn’t matter. I asked my wife, family, and boss if they judged me on it. But it didn’t seem like that stat had any negative or positive impact in any areas of my life. Preferably they add a function so players can opt into matches in progress so they can be done even quicker.

1. Having fun 2. Trying my best 3. Improving my game 4. Developing a better strategy 5. Whether my team is having fun ....... 99. Whether we win or lose 100. My personal performance
-
neither for me. I just want to play with real man, aka not invis, not threadlings rats.
-
Winning matters more but if you’re kd is always bad then you’ll always be the one stopping the winning from happening
-
I played a game of crucible after months of not, and I go against 2 stacks of 2 on a bad map, and we get steamrolled
-
Some reason Bungie has forced wins and losses. But every Bungie preferred player I get on my team loves losing. They just feed kills and don't cap zones.
