Absolutely! Revert to sunsetting means I will never spend a dime on any Bungie product EVER! Bungie outright lied to the player base. I could care less if they were to return all of the deleted gear, I will never, ever invest money in a company that is so willing to outright lie to the playerbase and not so much as apologize! Bungie is the worst, they were told sun setting was bad, and it drove a lot of players away from the game. Now they think it is OK to revert that bad thing after all the lies about never undoing it, and trying to sell players on how good it would be. Lies, all of it, a bunch of lies!

First bungie didn't outright lie. If it wasn't going to cause issues they would leave them sunset, but to give us the power progression changes ( which are good changes) it kind of needs to happen. At the time bungie implemented aunsetting they would not have thought they would need to revert it. To alow players to play with friends even if they don't have as much time to play its a good change. I too deleted many rolls I held onto for about 2 years after beyond light, but alot of the weapons have been power crept.

Yeah, that’s a completely valid reason. Bungie sunsets. Bungie says they will never un-sunset. Players sadly delete their sunset weapons they worked very hard on. Bungie gets desperate during a time of need. Bungie un-sunsets. Why the hell should the OP give them any more time, let alone money?

You guys still keep going on and on. This was to get players that left before sunsetting a chance to get back for the end of the light and dark saga. It’s not about you.Of course you guys have put yourselves front and center with “they lied”. Act like an adult instead of the spoiled brats you all are acting like. You didn’t use these guns for four years. You act like the people that attach themselves to a celebrity death. Its not about you.You were an afterthought in the process.
You guys still keep going on and on. This was to get players that left before sunsetting a chance to get back for the end of the light and dark saga.
Lmao, it’s so funny that you think Bungie will pour thousands and thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours of work into a project so they can, out of the goodness of their heart, “bring back players who have been missing out.” They’re a -blam!- buisness. They don’t give two -blam!- about what people have missed and what they haven’t. They want your money, and you’re drinking that Kool-Aid right up.
It’s not about you.Of course you guys have put yourselves front and center with “they lied”. Act like an adult instead of the spoiled brats you all are acting like. You didn’t use these guns for four years.
Dude, you’re an idiot and you’re making me out to be something I’m not. I make a completely valid argument, against you, who of course has to come into a post and make it about yourself, and then you say “I’m putting myself front and center.” You’re clearly a child with an overactive imagination, and you like to make things up so you can excuse Bungie for their deliberate lies. Must be Stockholm syndrome.
You act like the people that attach themselves to a celebrity death. Its not about you.You were an afterthought in the process.
Dude, you’re an afterthought. Nobody gives a damn what you think. You just sit around and start arguments, and when someone provides a completely logical response, you pull some bull -blam!- right out of your -blam!- cheeks. “iT’s NoT aLL aBoUt yOu!” It’s honestly the dumbest -blam!- I’ve ever heard.
-
It wasn’t obvious to you that getting players back in the game is a financial decision?
-
It isn’t obvious to you that Bungie will break their promises if it means making a profit? It doesn’t matter what you think. You’re insignificant. What matters is that Bungie directly broke a promise for the purpose of bringing back old players for TFS, and they’re only bringing them back so they can make a buck on them. If you can’t see that, or simply refuse to acknowledge it, then you just prove that you are chugging that Kool-Aid.
-
You just learn how business works?
-
Yeah, man. Bungie can't do a good thing unless the OP benefits from it personally lol
-
I thought they’d get over it after a couple days.
-
They'll keep crying over this until they get a new talking point from the TWID on Thursday lol
-
implying i was going to buy it beforehand...
-
Damn straight. Bungie straight up lied to the entire fanbase, you should have a major problem with it.
-
Calling it a lie is disingenuous. A lie requires intent to deceive. Unless you can prove they were planning to do this when they told us they wouldn't undo sunsetting, calling it a lie is a very bold claim to make. The situation has changed significantly since then. It didn't make sense to keep to that word anymore. All it would do is hurt the state of the game. This change is for the better. Does it suck that we deleted our guns? Yeah, it does, but it's for the best that they make this decision and I'm in support of it.
-
No a lie is a lie, they lied. They said they weren't going to revert any sunset weapons, now they are. That's a lie.
-
Words have meanings. Those meanings are important. The meaning of a lie is a statement made with intention to deceive. You can say that they didnt honor their commitment. That would be true. You could say that they went back on their word, that would also be true. Neither of those things makes what they said a lie.
-
Mf doesn’t even know what lying means. Being wrong isn’t a damn lie, or every time you lose a coin flip you’re a liar.
-
So dramatic
-
yep, he wants his vanilla D2, fixed perk, weapons back.
-
those aren't the ONLY thing that were sunset and you bloody know it. dustrock wasn't fixed rolls. neither was duke mk 44. stfu.
