Linked accounts
Hello everyone. I have a BIGGGGGG issue with a linked account. But from the top.
In december last year, by my own stupididty my Steam account was hacked. I regained access to it and all went well i was playing Destiny very casually etc. But today I saw that another account (Epic) is linked to my Destiny profile and can use my profile. I don't even know how that happened, I changed my Steam password and i belive the email linked with Bungie account. And all of a sudden random person have access to everything I built over past 4 years. I don't want to make another account and buy everything and do everything again. Can somehow Bungie brute force the unlinking of this account and regain full access to my profile without a leech. Please help however you can. I even contacted Epic in that case, but they said they can't do nothing I am desperate, please help.

6 RepliesEdited by silentbutviolent: 4/28/2024 4:13:00 PMbungie will not disable any linked accounts. you have to be able to authenticate the account. that is clearly laid out in their terms of service. whoever linked the epic account to your steam HAD to know your credentials to do so. never share account info with others. also, make sure to set up 2 factor authentication to prevent things like this. not saying you did, but paying for carries/recovs is never worth it folks.
