Spurs fan myself, though I'm supporting from the US. They are in bad form, they just don't seem like they want to be in the Champions.

My parents used to make me play soccer on weekends, I didn't like it, but I was good at it. Damn good. Week after week, goal after goal, I balled, hard. Winning over the hearts of the girls at school, and making enemies of the boys. One boy was especially upset, Scotty Johnson. He was a brute and a menace, he was the fastest kid in the grade and I was coming up on his turf. Most of you kids wouldn't know this, being home-schooled and all, but in public school, how fast you were was who you were. If you were fast you got everything, you got picked first in gym class, you got invited to all the birthdays, you got attention from the girls. It was a caste system, and Scotty Johnson was on the top. One day at morning recess walked up to me and challenged me to a match, soccer. I tried to turn him down but he double-dog-dared me, and did the chicken dance, I had to take up on his challenge We agreed to meet at lunch, 1 on 1 at the schools soccer yard, first to 10 wins. For the whole 60 minute block I balled like I never balled before. Shins were bruised and Ankles sprained, we went through ice packs like they were candy When the bell finally rang we kept going, much to the chagrin of our teachers. By 3 O'clock we were beat, our faces were red, our shins black and our clothes stained green and brown, and tied 9-9. We continued balling and eventually i secured the ball away from Scotty and had a clear shot at the goal. I readied myself to take the shot and that was when it happened. My ankle, after hours of strain, broke and I collapsed. At that moment I had lost the match, Scotty took the ball from me and scored on my net. In that moment, Scotty had destroyed me, None of the girls would look me in the eye anymore and Fat Timmy even rescinded his birthday invite. There was nothing i could do but cry and wallow in despair all while Scotty gloated. "No..." I thought "I will not let myself be victimized by this brute!" I got up, wiped the tears from my eyes, and limped over to the ball. It sat there motionless, having served its purpose, while Scotty Johnson ran his victory lap in the distance. I picked it up and felt how deflated it had become "My friend, this game, has not yet finished" I whispered and kissed the the ball gently. I turned to face Scotty and my once friends, he was break-dancing now while the crowd chanted his name. "enough of this!" I exclaimed and threw the ball on the ground. "Hey, Scotty!" I yelled at the top of my lungs and kicked the ball with my good foot. Scotty got up, confused but before he could turn to face me, the ball struck him in the head, killing him instantly I was expelled from the school, ostracized by my friends and narrowly avoided juvenile detention. That day I swore to never again ball lest I cause more pain
