Okay technically it’s a keyboard but it’s got weighted keys and all the pedals so I’m gonna call it a piano lol.
IM SO HAPPY!!! I had to leave my piano behind when I moved recently and I’ve been missing it ever since. I’m so glad I can play again!!!!
I’ve already started leaned Journey and Solitude from D2 and I’ve kinda made my own version of Dear Friend Across the River.
Does anyone here play piano??? If so, what’s your number one tip or trick for teaching yourself new music? And your favorite song to play?

I haven't played in years, I should relearn how to play. Maybe I should get a keyboard...

That’s so cool! I have played piano for basically my whole life. This summer I am attempting to learn Waltz in E-Major, Op. 15 “Moon Waltz” on the piano.
The arrangement I am learning: https://musescore.com/user/18042251/scores/6791025
I just yesterday got a new midi keyboard. It is 2x the size and it is pretty cool. I'll start making stuff w/ it this weekend. I had to get a new one because when I plugged in the small one it started to smell like battery acid and it got hot. Very weird stuff. I wouldn't consider myself a piano person but I used the small midi on almost all the tracks I have on soundcloud. (NOT very many) So more of a songwriting enjoyer, and therefore a piano enjoyer. I don't have a favorite song to play, as I haven't learned any, I just plink-plonk away till I find something cool, BUT I hope to make piano parts/chords similar to Mogwai. I really like "Friend of the Night"'s piano interlude. Check it out.

I don’t know that I have any useful tips other than practice slowly. Also, technique is important for, you know, playing good & avoiding injuries. favorite, i guess
