I’m working on a 3rd party app for a Destiny 2 overlay. This is using the Bungie API exclusively. I have no concerns about the content I’m making (static bounty trackers, fireteam member loadout quick view), but I have concerns about how it is displayed. I’m using WPF to put a transparent noninteractive window on top of Destiny 2. Would that type of a window set up get me banned? I wouldn’t imagine it would since I’m not touching anything to do with Destiny and how it runs on my machine (such as graphics card data, exe files, or memory. Exclusively API calls on par with DIM), but I’m not sure if the exact positioning and transparent background would flag anticheat or anything. The few live tests I’ve tried with it didn’t flag anything, but I want be safe rather than sorry.
