DEAL WITH THE CHEATERS
I don't care what you do but as long as you ALLOW open and flagrant cheating, this gane is dead. Making it free for all has opened the flood gates. I've been recording videos of the kill streams where 80% of the match is 100% headshots. Every single kill is a headshot. Rank 5, wearing blues dropping 40 and 50 kill games with 90%+ accuracy or better?? Look at their history and fuess what....there isnt history.. Tier 5 resilience taking 8 Thorn headshots with out losing more than 50% of thier hp?? Seriously?? Spawning in already arc charged with speed boost (had this guy on team and also against of course wouldnt talk and used all blues)? Unlimited charged melee? All of this was game after game after game in 3v3 LAST NIGHT. That isn't even the worst of it. A single burst from blast furnace killing 3 full health players at the same time??? Please make it make sense....
This is all since yesterday alone. It os so bad players are literally walking holding the trigger down on handcannons and wiping entire teams.
You promised to give cheat detection updates years ago and did until they got around it. You need to deal with this issue NOW or kiss any success goodbye. It will be the death of this game.
And yes, queue the simps and cope addicts who would let the world end before ever admitting anyone would ever cheat in this game. Deny it all you want, a simple check in trials report will tell you everything you need to know.

1 ReplyWas watching a stream last night when a guy came into chat trying to get pity because his account got banned. He tried saying it was because he farmed too much then when nobody was buying that he finally admitted “his friend” that he was farming with was using cheats. They aren’t catching everyone but nice to know some of the jerks are getting busted.

I'e accepted the fact they either can't stop the cheaters, or don't want to use resources against cheaters. I used to play PvP, now I only play it for quest lines or if I'm chasing a weapon then I dip.

Anyone notice that despite the advancements in cheat detection we’re seeing extreme amounts of it? Want to know what else became more prevalent at the same time that cheating increased? 1. 1 ReplyDude, it’s just impossible to even tell anymore at this point. If I report everyone who is sus, I can report half the lobby. But in this game it passes as normal to take a shotgun blast to the face without dying , win melee fights regardless of health and other circumstances, shoot through flinch like it doesn’t exist, shake off point blank fusion shots, survive super attacks/blows (always very impressive), land every shot with your hand cannon that has 14 PvE kills on the tracker, dominate the lobby with blue gear … I’ve seen it all and I see it all the time. So I dunno … cross play is horrible, p2p is horrible, I think it’s impossible to salvage any of that without dedicated servers and a decent effort to make connections better as a foundation.

1 ReplyI have maybe seen 1 person cheat in pvp isince D1. I’m no pvp god but I can hold my own when I give a crap to. Crucible is fun zone for me blast away and crazy kills. Trials can’t really mess around because you chasing loot. I do not think everyone is cheating. I can see in crucible at times a really skilled player. Then if I feel like it I go sweaty rest of the map hunting him or her. Like anything in life. Want to get better? Practice. But if you make excuses. I lose because everyone’s a cheater. You will never get better.

I had to turn off crossplay because of all the Xbox cheaters. I wait but it’s worth it.

4 RepliesThere are exceptional players out there but I have also heard the sound of a hand cannon doing a three tap cadence and watching the kill feed showing three players go down due to headshots . If you can fire 9 headshots in a roll without a single body shot and do It extremely quickly while being fired back at , more power to you , but I think there is probably some Cronus Zim going on with some of these players .

11 RepliesHere's some advice, stay out of the crucible. I made the mistake going in there during IB just to try it out, nope. It's a cheaters paradise and Bungie won't do anything about it. Stay out of the crucible and let it die!

Agreed, cheating gotta stop. I have submitted 2 reports of one guy (several accs unfortunately.) and he's still around. It sucks. If anyone wants to also report him, I can pm you his Yt for proof, and his Bungie name. Just ask.

!00% agree with the OP. But, this is the end of D2, so they won't do a tap to improve anything at this stage. They've had long enough and have achieved very little. Maybe if we all prepare a little surprise in advance by NOT investing in their new ventures, it might serve them right for not doing more for their loyal customers.

Watched a player kill 20 on a new map by clicking heads with Luna’s Howl, without ever missing a shot. 2 and 3 tapping every single kill, with zero mods equipped. I saw that he had no mods on, accused him outright and then he put them on, saying he had mods equipped. Lol -
