Can we please remove the catalyst kill requirements already?
It’s so grindy and feels super out of place with how far weapon upgrading has come.
Not to mention, almost no one ever works on it gradually (which is how it seems it was intended to be completed).
90% of people just take it into Shuro Chi or wherever and bang it all out at once, so there’s no reason for it to even be a thing anymore.

2 RepliesAgreed! I have so many catalyst missions just taking up room or abandoned because they have “kill # of guardians” as a requirement. I’m not playing crucible or gambit no matter how hard you try Bungie.

Worldline was cool (though probably the greatest exceptions in all of the catalyst objectives), but I'd like to see weapon specific things that gives you a small hint towards exploring the exotic perk. Example: Riskrunner: 100 bullet kills, 100 chain lightning kills Lament: 100 kills, 10 champion shield breaks, 100 reved heavy hits (more progress the longer the combo)

No, your lucky you don't have to level up the exotic to its full damage with XP They have removed all progression from the game, and you are batching about having to get a few kills , you should have to use the weapon to learn how to use it better Why not just ask to have every item in the game just for logging in , because asking you to play the game is oppressive -

I agree. It's just another way for bungie to keep you trapped in their little box while they make you play the game just how they want you to. They don't realise that their own game is making people hate playing it.
