So, after getting the First Curse today, I decided to write a huge thread about the weapon foundries of Destiny. From the city and beyond, there is a multitude of weapon foundries and manufactures. This post should cover them all, their attributes, and the weapons related to the foundry. I will base most foundries off of their exotics.
Hakke
Notable Weapons:
Fabian Strategy
Universal Remote (Theorized)
Various Vendor Weapons
Hakke weapons focus around power. They're built to mirror 21st Century Weapons.
Suros
Notable Weapons:
Suros Regime
Hawksaw
Various Vendor Weapons
Suros is all Modular, tweakable. They /always/ have three trees of perks and often the options can really change the feel of the gun
Omolon
Notable Weapons:
Hard Light
Tlaloc
Susuno
Omolon is state of the art. Their goal is to make experimental weapons and push the present forwards. Their specialty is liquid ammo.
Tex Mechanica
Notable Weapons:
First Curse
Last Word
Chaperone
If you want to be a cowboy, then you should join Tex mechanic. As of right now, Tex Mechanica is exclusive to exotic weapons besides the three Vanilla Rares. However, three exotics is enough to analyze the foundry. Tex Mechanica Weapons reward precision, the keen of eyes.
Crux/Lomar
Notable Weapons:
Truth
Gjallahorn
Dragon's Breath
Feizel Crux and Lomar are scientists. Their goal is to build the most top-notch rocket launchers, and frankly they've succeeded in that goal. With Ghorn being the most coveted weapon in year one Destiny, Truth being the most aggressive crucible launcher, and Dragon's Breath...being something...Crux and Lomar truly show their genius with explosives
Cassoid and Daito
Notable Weapons:
Inventive
Telesto
Jade Rabbit
Cassoid and Daito are two of the very little known city weapon foundries. This is all we know so far.
Warmind
Notable Weapons:
Feedback Fence
Sleeper Simulant
Pocket Infinity
Warmind weapons use golden age relics to function. We don't know much about the Warmind weapons.
Weapons of Sorrow
Notable Weapons:
Necrochasm
Thorn
Touch of Malice
King's fall weapons
Weapons of Sorrow are human weapons corrupted by the hive. They're most known for their green and black bullet streams. You can argue that ToM isn't a weapon of sorrow, but Eris did use a scout rifle frame to build it.
That's about it. Correct me on anything and add things to help me out.
