I really like him, actually. His design is unique in a game dominated by bright colors and cheery characters. Of course, you could use the "lol edgy twelve year old argument," but I happen to like his rather dark character, as well as his haunting backstory. Even the mask (which seems over the top) makes sense when you realize that he is literally a human trapped in the brink of death with his particles literally being disassembled and reassembled at a constant pace. As for gameplay, I enjoy playing as Reaper very much. Aside from Roadhog, there's no real shotgun character in Overwatch. Besides, Roadhog's 4 shots per mag doesn't resonate with my preferred playstyle. Additionally, I have found that Reaper's weapons work most effectively at a medium range rather than an ultra close. As for teleport and VAPE mode, not only do they match the character's lore, they also make his position as a flanker much more solid
