Seven Seraphs / 7 Seraphs
With the latest Dawning update we received [i]Lamentation[/i], Rimed and Scarlight armour sets.
Couple of days ago @cgbarrett twitted:

Chapter [b]3[/b] of the [b]Book of Lamentations[/b] has [b]66[/b] verses, and #2 is probably is the [b]2[/b]nd verse:
[b][i]3:2 He hath led me, and brought me into darkness, but not into light.[/i] [/b] (as seen in King James Bible)
But who brought them into darkness, Rasputin?
Transmission from the outer space?
It is unknown, yet.
So, these armour sets ([i]Lamentation[/i], Rimed and Scarlight) were provided by the Seven Seraphs and this faction will be re-revealed in the next updates.
Some other translations of the [b]3:2[/b]

Don't know if it means anything, but the Rimmed armor set is a copy of the Seraph Reform blue armor set, with all of the descriptions referring to questions about a guardians soul during the period between first death and initial ghost resurrection. Some even seem to suggest a suspicion of the morality of being brought back by the ghost. Seems a bit more existential than a reference to warminds or warmind precursors

1 ReplyThere are so many factions barely mentioned, Effrideet's group, Lysander and Cormorant, the Nine(which would mean is the other unknown members, we know Xur, and the Exo Stranger, could be the 7 Seraphs) All is speculation. I know several games grab from religions as inspirations. It's too early to truly tell, or you could be onto something. HB Btw! GLHF
