Just curious to see who you think would win, whether that be 1v1 or 6v6 (since there's only six classes in Diablo 3).
Do you think the undead guardians of the Light, humanity's last defence against a seemingly endless army of the Darkness, slayers of the hive gods Crota and Oryx, conquerers of the Vault of Glass, vanquishers of the Kell of Kells, would prevail?
Or will the ancient nephalem, offspring of angels and demons, saviours of humanity, exterminators of the demon army and their last surviving leaders Belial and Azmodan, vanquishers of the prime evil Diablo, executioners of the Angel of Death, be victorious?
Sorry if I got some information wrong with the guardians; I don't read the grimoire
Do people not know about the lore of this game? Guardians are not affected by cause and effect. They weave in and out of causality due to their power from the light. Nephalem from diablo while being the source of death itself are still bound by cause and effect, which makes them weaker in that regard. So just because of that, at this point in time there is no fictional character that can even compete with a guardian. As they aren't grounded in the basic laws of physics. This is why they were able to beat oryx, and why we can pierce through time and stop the restorative mind. We are in and out of time. Pretty sick actually. It's too bad they do a terrible job at representing this in the game. So I'll give you this. "In game mechanics" nephalem absolutely destroy guardians. Easy. Lore wise? Guardians are God's in the eyes nephalem.
