Seriously... they make an Energy grenade launcher that is virtually useless on all fronts, and we're all still worried about shaders...
Why is no one making a thread dedicated to having the fighting lion become buff as -blam!-. You know what? I'll do it, fly me out to bungie studios and give me an address of which people control the way exotics are made, because this is the game plan for fighting lion...
1. Buff it's base damage by 90%
2. Increase Magazine Size to 2 or 3, increase reserve accordingly
3. Max out reload speed, Scale the blast radius to being at an omolon level, max out velocity
4. Change the 2nd perk not the intrinsic perk, you know what? That too, it now does 3x the damage to shielded targets and can trigger the 2nd perk if an enemy is caught in the blast of a shell, but the 2nd one, make it so any enemy that is killed refills the magazine for free atleast once per reload. Meaning after a reload, when you trigger the intrinsic perk, the refill can only happen once, so this perk would be strategic to maximizing it's use to having 5 grenades per mag and only consuming 3 in the process.
5. Please tweak the sight... just make it look like a lions head or something, come on now!
That is all...

I hate the Fighting Lion. I would rather use my bb gun from Fallout 3.
-
That would make it a Year 1 Vex, but grenade launcher.
-
What about that shit exotic that increases sidearm reload speed. In D1 that was a RARE perk
Why is no one making a thread dedicated to having the fighting lion become buff as -blam!-.
people already made enough topics about it. it just gets overshadowed by all the negative feedback (most of the times justified though), clan threads, nightfall lfg and other crap. not to mention bungo doesnt even read that stuff in the first place.

Wah wah wah wah wahhhhh

While we are at it let's buff coldheart! Here are my demands: Unlimited Ammo No reload It instant kills all bosses Every round fired increases its power by 1 Wielding it let's you use unlimited exotics It creates a rift that gives everybody in the area their super It spits out legendary weapon/armor mods when fired It spits out exotic engrams when fired I could go on but I think this would balance the weapon perfectly. Wouldn't want to see it become OP
-
Just, leave it at +90% damage. You have to remember that it's an energy weapon not a power weapon.
-
This is why Bungie ignores the community most of the time. This would be WAY overpowered. You need to take into account that it's a special weapon. With your changes it would be the only special ever used in PvP.
-
Hmm, sounds great. PvP will be so much fun.
-
Yes it's a bad weapon. Your buff suggestions are how to make another thorn...
-
That would make it incredibly broken.
-
It's an energy weapon, That'd be so OP it's unreal

I clicked on this thinking the epic failure was just D2 itself.
