Balancing Snipers 101

Okay, here’s how I’d do it. From a console players perspective: The problems: low zooms make snipers easy to use aim assist on high impacts makes them easy to get headshots with little true skill 140s are useless flinch doesn’t impact them enough. Revoker is OP as hell Make impact directly correlate to aim assist and/or flinch. The higher the impact, the more flinch and/or less aim assist. Make 140’s 2 body shot again, they weren’t used before and are even worse now OR give the frame an intrinsic perk where they ADS faster or are drawn faster. Bring back scopes that impact the snipers performance, with a “plus for a negative” system. For example: More aim assist however this weapon receives more flinch. This weapon takes reduced flinch however zooms further. This weapon gains slightly less flinch and less zoom, however receives -40 handling or -40 aim assist. Finally, All revokers are left on IO, mars, Titan and Mercury to be lost forever in the destiny vault. I’ll take a sandbox job next week bungie.

  • Uhhhh Pls no 140 two taps. You want sniper balance? Change flinch so that it isn’t a free headshot, Make 140s do more precision damage so they can OHK supers with box breathing/vorpal again Nerf 90rpm body shot damage to 110 Nerf 72 rpm body shot damage to 132 Also.... For the love of god... Please bring back scope options so that players can craft their own god roll with the zoom value they want
