I know people hate reading trash talk about Destiny because it's a game we all play. We love this game for one reason or another, I just want to voice my opinion, and yes, I'm sure you've all heard this before, but it's just something that has been ignored and it needs to be heard.
Destiny, at the moment, is my favorite game on the market. There really isn't much out as far as quality games, but I still really enjoy Destiny. I love the raids, love building up my character, and love playing with friends. But as far as what we were promised through advertising, Destiny is awful. Now if you know me, I'm not one to get angry with a game about DLC's or price. I understand the business aspect of it and understand that we aren't seen as gamers, but consumers. And that's fine, but when a game like Destiny makes an amazing creation of a game, finishes it, and then decided that they want to dumb the game down, take away any kind of in-game economic system, and remove fully built content on your disc, that's when I have an issue. CE & HoW is already on your disc (as many of you know) and was removed from your disc to be sold to you for an extra $30. Destiny's launch date slot was unopposed. No games were around it to compete so they took out content to sell it later on and f.u.c.k you without you even knowing. Yes, shadow of morador was near the time slot but also isn't bought by all of the same consumers. Yes, this is all troubling, but the worst part for me is the lack of content, and not just the story, we all know the story is trash and that's not something I need to talk about because it's well known by all, but what isn't well known is that bungie originally planned to have a trading system in place, but removed it to appeal to a younger audience. why does that matter? with the intricacy of a player trading system, it would have achieved a mature rating. they wanted to dumb it down, and appeal to a younger audience combined with a strong marketing campaign, to sell copies not just to the 20-35 age group, but to the younger kids 12-18. now don't be offended if you're younger but the complexity of a player trading system gives a strong advantage to the older players that understand business, supply and demand, as well as fluxuating prices to get the best price of get the most money from selling a piece of gear. Doing this made this game simpler and less complex to reduce the intellectual requirement needed to be successful in this game. To those who are still actually reading, I thank you for reading. we need to be more selective to the bullshit we are willing to put up with. This game could have been the best mmo based game since WoW, but ultimately decided that they wanted that sales we more important than building a masterpiece. And I'm not saying stop playing. I love Destiny, and already paid $90 to get all of the content that was promised, but we need to take a stand in the future for what is satisfactory and what we will accept as far as content and business ethics as a whole. let me know your thoughts, and thanks for reading.

If its on my disc leave it on there, that simple. These designers created the game, so they can make more content if they want we can't. Runescape was a free game with a trade system and I think I was younger than 12 and still got the concepts so I'm sorry if the youth of America couldn't be like me back then. In thought and opinion they gave too much control to marketers over their creative ideas and it screwed us all.
