Hello new members and welcome to Orphan Surplus. I would like to discuss in this thread how our clan works, certain rules, and what we expect from members. I'm not one to make someone read a book when it comes to these type of things so I like to follow a simple method called KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid). [b]Rules -[/b] As a new clan I will not stay heavy on rules but expect more to be added as we gain members. 1) [i]Stay Mature[/i] - We like to appeal to everyone and having immature behavior will hinder this. 2) [i]Say Hi[/i] - We don't expect everyone to be able to join every time we send out an invite but we appreciate members who will take some time out to drop in and talk once in a while. 3) [i]Join when you can[/i] - We would like to think that members of are clan are willing to dedicate time to help other members who need it. 4) [i]Help[/i] - Give out a helping hand. Our clan accepts all lovers of destiny. This means light levels of different kinds will come in. Please help out the newer members. 5) [i]Stay Respectful[/i] - This is an easy one. No Racism, Sexist remarks, or Disrespect. (if jokes are made that offends you by any of our members please feel free to take it up with me. If you have a problem with anything I say please inform me or Inform Collix-Cothan (Captain Sotox). [b]Group and Clan -[/b] I've noticed over the past few members who join the group do not join the clan. This is not a problem as the Orphan Surplus group and clan are the same we would prefer people to set Orphan Surplus as their active clan. Joining the group is appreciated but having our clan as active shows major support. Message me over the website or over PSN if you have any questions on this matter. [b]Ranking -[/b] Destiny seems to lack a rank up system for clans as of the moment and we are unaware if they later plan to add more. As of right now they only hold 3 ranks which are Member (being the lowest), Admin (being the highest that anyone other than the founder can achieve), and Founder (which no one but the owner of the clan can achieve). With that being said I am making it fairly hard for people to rank up to an admin. Admins hold almost as much power as me to keep it fair within a checks and balances method. To get promoted to admin be aware of the following. Promotions to Admin. 1) Stay Active. 2) Stay Loyal. 3) Play With Members. 4) Help out (When you can). 5) Be Respectful. 6) Have Time Spent In The Clan. 7) Do Your Best To Promote The Clan. 8) Be Fun, Enjoyable, And Have Members Like you. Please note that all promotions go to me. If you feel you are ready and worthy for the promotion you must message me and inform me that you are interested.
