Go to rewards.xbox.com and sign up they give you Microsoft points for purchases on the microsoft store and xbox live
However, pre orders do not count unless it is a thing for "my missions"
I've gotten over 200,000 points back (200 dollars)

I play on Xbox and PS4. Tnx for the info👍

I do not understand why people digitally buy console games in general. PSN and Live are no where close to what Steam offers (good customer service and surper discounts) and you have to upgrade your console's HDD for the huge amount of storage they take up. And if you do not want the game anymore, you are stuck with it. With a physical copy, you can atleast trade it in for a different game.

Don't pre-order 😉

Edited by Valten X: 8/2/2017 12:08:03 AMI have a personal experience. DO NOT PRE ORDER if you are going to use your credit card or debit card as a second option. For example, let's say you pay 60 dollars with Microsoft points and pay the taxes with your debit card e t c. So let's say if you want to pre order multiple games. Your account balance won't go away, which means later. You have to pay more than you intended to. I talked to a person and I have to spend 13 dollars for in total of the taxes if that makes sense. Microsofts rules are: if you use a credit card or debit card to pre order one of your games, you WONT get charged on the same day. Especially when you use Microsoft pointsYou will get charged 10 days before the release day of the game you pre ordered. Your account balance will not go away. So it's hard to keep track of what you spent and you have to pay more what you intended to.

Can someone explain why people r so crazy behind pc's. I was looking to buy a gaming laptop for games like PUBG and OW but a 600$ laptop performs almost the same as a console, sometimes consoles perform better from what I've heard. Plz correct me if I'm wrong I'm new to this pc side of things.
i know this completely irrelevant to the main post but like I need help understanding this shit
Well that's like,your opinion man!

Preorders do count 😂😂😂 it worked for me on ESO:Morrowind and on D2 so yeah 😂
-
Speaking of preordering, has anyone seen the offer for preordering the digital deluxe edition on GameStop? You get the Deluxe edition Sword, Emote, and Emblem, along with a Exotic rifle called Coldheart (Fusion, I'm guessing) and a Kill Tracker Ghost. Seems like a lot of stuff.

Edited by TheShadow-cali: 8/1/2017 1:50:33 AMYou mean like Game stop with Pro rewards? To where you literally have to spend hundreds of $$$$$$ which isn't even a joke just to get a couple items that aren't even worth $10. Yeah, such a great incentive.

I got a guy...who sells me Xbox points cards at a 45% rate. I just bought $600 worth for the Xbox one x and D2 for $275

Don't pre order digitals in general, regardless of system. I order from stores, that way I can cancel. I'll pre order digitals if it's a remastered edition like Skyrim, or something I know for a fact I'll enjoy.
-
Microsoft points...having heard that term in yet x3
-
wait so we shouldnt preorder it on bone cuz it doesnt qualify for a rewards program? thats not a particularly compelling argument. I pre ordered it so i dont need to fumble with a disk anymore, how does that benefit get outweighed by an opportunity that was never there?
-
Good to know, but Destiny is the only game that I'll preorder digital copy because I know I'll play it for a long while. Burned myself on The Division, COD, most other games I'll buy a hard copy that way I can take it to gamestop and at least get something back. $20 is better than nothing.
-
Also the D2 ghost kill "tracker". I'd love to have one to see my overall/pve/pvp kills in game but I'm not buying it (D2) again. Hopefully they give it to all the preorders from the xbox store OR have some you can just obtain in the game someway as a reward 😊

I play Xbox. I also hardly buy new games and when I do I prefer a HC that I can resell either online or trade in at a store. I games that are on sale through the console though, most of those aren't worth it to try trading in.

I don't play Xbox but this is good advice amongst a cesspool of disease, well done

Wait I'm confused
