So after the sunsetting that came with this season, we are once again limited with our load outs in competitive PvP. Mindbenders is gone and Felwinters was an exclusive that was released back in May that is no longer obtainable. I feel like Felwinters has had its exclusivity since this past season was extended to almost 2 seasons worth of time. Today with the patch, Bungie said they will be releasing seventh seraph weapons into the loot pool to balance the lack of loot that has been released. My problem with this is that there are no aggressive framed shotguns that are obtainable besides Astral, which goes in the kinetic slot. The entire community knows that Felwinters is king and by their actions pretty much are saying “too bad” to the old and new community members that don’t have it. With this, I’m forced to used select load outs if i want to shotgun. I won’t be able to use dire or Thorn since the only shotgun that can compete is astral. I don’t think it’s right to force people to change the way they play since they didn’t get an exclusive weapon from 2 seasons ago. Bungie, please give us another energy aggressive frame shotgun or make the Felwinters obtainable again. It’s only fair that people can pick and chose what they want to run and have a level playing field. Part of the community has been crying out for a response and we hear nothing. A statement on the matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
