On May 31st I was playing destiny and just unlocked my craft able austringer and beloved after hours and hours of grinding for them. I log off of destiny that night at around 5am and get back on at 11pm the next day and was greeted with "Not so fast, this account has been banned." I'm not sure what I did to deserve a permanent ban on destiny, I've been playing the game since release and have never once cheated or done anything to deserve a ban. I've spent thousands of hours on Destiny and would really appreciate help, I've submitted an unban request and have not been answered for nearly a week. I love this game and would really like to be able to play with my friends again and finally be able to use my new austringer.

Greetings! The Help Forums are no place to assist in appeals of bans; however, Bungie has a guide and a contact form where you can submit an appeal for your ban. This form is for appeals, and not questions such as why or how long. If you have already submitted an appeal, then the best thing that you can do right now is wait; the forums cannot assist you further. Please note, per the guide: There are no guarantees that a ban or suspension will be overturned, nor that an email will be responded to. Requests for additional information, such as the length of a restriction or reason for a ban, will be disregarded. Bungie’s ban and restriction policy can be found here.

What other programs do you have running on your PC? Something got you banned it makes no difference what game it was intended for if it tries to interfere in any way with D2 it will be flagged. The only other way to get banned is to have sketchy PVP history/playing with cheaters and benefitting from that.

There is nothing to do besides the appeal form you already filled out. The help forums are useless for this. Bungie does not have to respond to your form and will not if the appeal is rejected.
