Ok I'm guessing most people have heard the rumours about the supposed sub-classes Bungie is adding to destiny in one of the upcoming DLCs or updates. And yes, I understand that they are 'Rumours', but these rumours do sound pretty realistic and I'm hopeful that they're true. For example the hunters 'supposed' new sub-class will be called the trapper, or something along those lines, whose supercharge will be to slow down or freeze enemies in a radius sounds pretty cool right? But let's get down to the matter at hand. Crossbows. Yes, you heard me, crossbows. These deadly weapons of war would make a perfect sidekick to a trapper considering it's natural association with hunting, and also because they're badass. And I guess other classes could use them too but maybe the trapper could have a bigger boon to using one. There should also be two types of crossbow: an automatic one which sacrifices damage and range for rate of fire (like a modern day chu ko nu) , and also a heavier more traditional crossbow which only fires one at a time. Bungie would have to work out the specifics like damage and whether or not it would be a special or primary weapon but I think a crossbow would be a great addition to the game and could definitely work. The crossbow again would fit perfectly together with the release of the trapper sub-class. So yeah, Bungie...call me? -Arkrio
