My son and I were just on Mercury, when we came across this other player in The Lighthouse.
My son said to check out this guy's Ghost shell.
I did and was somewhat taken aback by the little blurb on it.
FAST LANE SHELL
"For Ghosts who like to drive fast and look good while doing it"
Now this group has been around for the better part of 5 years, and the motto I put in for it has always been;
"People with a passion for going fast and looking good getting there"
It's a play on a David Lee Roth of Van Halen quote he made about the use or rear view mirrors in cars.
So is Bungie secretly stalking and stealing ideas from us?
EDIT:
I forgot, Destiny kids take everything literally and have no ability to sense fun nor sarcasm.

Maximum cuckitude detected.

These forums are so damn dumb, they've worn away my sense of sarcasm.
-
Ummmm no.

What am I supposed to say? "Oh hidy ho officer! We've had a doozy of a day. There we were minding our own business, just doing chores around the house when kids started killing themselves all over my property." 😂

Assuming they bother to take good ideas. Yours is for one not plagiarizing as it's not official publishing or documented in away anyone here matters. It's also pretty stupid to even care about as this is among the worst so called ideas. Likely was written somewhere in Bungie before you even posted it assuming we can trust their development timeline.

Hahaha, op listened to van Halen!
-
You kind of reworded it from David Lee Roth in the first place.
-
They were probably inspired by the same thing you were and likely haven’t the slightest clue you even exist.
-
Shows how stupid this forum is just by looking at the replies.

If you got it from somewhere else, why isn’t your first assumption that Bungie got it from them too?
-
Whats more likely here. That bungie stole your quote (LOL) Or you both know how to paraphrase things that other cooler people have said?
-
Bungie steal ideas from everywhere. I watched guardians of the galaxy last year and noticed at least 4 destiny supers in the film, like exactly the same. Did you know, I searched curse of Osiris in December and there's 3 films, and a couple of TV shows called Curse of Osiris.
-
Didn't you steal from David lee Roth?
-
Gets called out then proceeds to call people children while crying.
-
Because you are no doubt the only person who could have come up with that.
-
That moment you're offended by something dumb but try to play it off as a joke.

Sarcasm is a tone of voice, it isn't 100% readable, meaning that there is two ways of interpreting your text; a sarcastic and a non-sarcastic approach

Oh yeah, xur is the stranger from resident evil
-
Nothing in the game is original. They even fire staff and steal their content without paying them.
-
Fun fact: Crimson was originally a fan made exotic that was made back in 2015 called Bloody Mary

Edited by MightyJonE: 2/18/2018 10:05:03 AMBungie stole the whole idea of Destiny from a 6 year old halo fan who drew the entire game design on a crumpled sheet of paper during his primary school art class. This is FACT! probably

Are you Stretch Armstrong? Because you're reaching really far with this. 😂

Don't see it as plagiarism, especially if it's non-copyrighted material you chose to share. See it as knowing a good idea when they saw it. Back when I was playing "Silent Hill" games, I created a topic called "SH2 - The Rejected Endings". It had a whole slew of mostly humorous endings featuiring James, the game's protagonist. In one, James whacks the obnoxious dog with a newspaper. In another, he whacks the even more obnoxious kid with a wooden spoon. James and the entire cast of characters, dead and alive, get into a huge rumble at the end. And in one, James walks in on a party featuring the entire cast of characters, with Pyramid Head (a sex pervert slasher in a triangular mask, and the series' most iconic boss) cutting the cake with his Great Knife (like a normal kitchen knife only it's the size of a Honda Civic). Lo and behold, in Silent Hill Downpour (which came out four years after I posted the topic), the game's joke ending features... a party! And yes, the entire cast of characters is present. And yes, there's a cake. And yes, Pyramid Head is cutting it.* And yes, the game's credits verify that the game's creators were regular visitors to the site I was on. But I'm not complaining... I wrote the ending for fun, and shared it because I thought it was a good idea. And just maybe, Konami thought so as well. *He cuts the table in half as well, but I didn't come up with that part.
