Primary Crota Drop Rate
The recent Kotaku article mentions Bungie using the Carrot progression technique to keep players in the game. One way to artificially prolonging the game is making the carrot harder to get. Is it possible Bungie already did this? I finished hard mode 8 times, Crota still didn't drop a primary weapon for me. Anyone of you experiencing the same drop rate?

Got all of the raid primary's in the first two weeks. I have one nechro also and another crux dropped for me today..

Not weapon wise I have weapons from Crota. I just can't get the -blam!-ing chest piece for my Titan it's been over 7 weeks now it's -blam!-ing ridiculous!!
