Is Universal Remote Worth It?
I have never gotten an exotic gun before and I don't know if I should by the universal remote or just wait until next week. Can someone tell me if its good in PvE and PvP

4 AntwortenSo I had this drop last night about 2 hours before Xur showed up. I took it for a test run on a Rock Strike, and I have to say it is pretty awesome. I do not think it will replace my scout rifles or hand cannons, but it is a lot of fun to use. It does one shot kill a lot of enemies at close range, but there is a pretty big drop at medium range - note I do not have it leveled yet, as I just got it. I have not taken it in to PVP, but I am not expecting great things here after the weapon changes in the last update.

Yes it's really really good. I use it in pvp and pve all the time, it's great fun too

If you are a collector then yes. If your not then don't pick it up. I personally like invective better.

I think it's a really stupid weapon only because it has to be a primary. You can pare it with another shotgun, a fusion rifle, or a sniper. I don't like any of those combinations.

Not to pay. I've gotten 2 as drops and it's an awesome gun because it's fun. It really had no strategic value. But if you want a fun time in ROC, then this is your gun

It seems like a good deal now but once you get more exotics from bounties, raids, or drops then you probably won't want a shotgun taking up your exotic slot. I have invective but never use it bc it's not better than thorn or red death.

When you run out of ammo: do you start punching things in the face, rather than run to look for more? Are you going to use Universal Remote? The answers to all these questions are the same.

Since this weeks shotgun buff I'd say buy one if you can afford it, purely for fun. Having a great time just sprinting around shooting things in the face. Universal remote means you can equip two, so double the fun. This is purely pve. Not a fan of shotties in pvp.

I bought it cuz I didn't have it and I had 100 coins. But I used it on pve was 1 shot killing enemies.

Pvp only, better safe your coins for something more useful.

No. All shotguns are mostly useless in this game on both pve and pvp. On PVP at least you can one shot sometimes if close enough. If you have dozen of coins buy it if you want, if not. Wait it out. He will eventually bring something worth buying.

Universal Remote dominates in rumble. Pair it with knucklehead radar and it's an unstoppable combo.

1 Antwortensomething better will come and if your short on coins its not worth the risk. Once you get three characters up to high twenties then you can be rolling in coins and buy what you want.

I'm just upgrading mine now (got it on crota a few days ago) and I'm not a shotgun user but I have to say I like it. Pretty much one shot one kill on pve. Haven't used it on pvp yet but if I was you and I had the spare coins (like everyone else) I say why not.

It will be good in PvE due to the boost in damage. If you aim down the sights, the range gets much better and becomes pretty good fun :).
