A funny thing happened to Black Spindle
Hello, Guardians.
Right this every minute, many of you are acquiring Black Spindle. Surprise!
Wouldn't you know it, there is a bug that is enabling some of these weapons to drop at 310 - that's 20 points higher than intended. In the near future, we'll be releasing an update that will adjust the Black Spindle to match the attack rating for other Year Two Exotics.
It has also come to our attention that you are using this new acquisition to Infuse your other weapons. Good on you. Have fun with that. None of those weapons will be affected by this change - only the Spindle.

DeeJ, Cozmo and Bungie: This may be too little too late but I think a more elegant solution would have been to make all (that's right all) quest based/time based weapons attack level 310 (black spindle, sleeper, Boolean, chaperone, ace of spades, Tlaloc, etc) just like the swords and ToM. Only catch, one quest/weapon drop per account. This way the player can decided to lose a 310 exotic to infuse it into something else. Because I know for most, it would have been the very rare exception that someone would have gotten rid of their only 310 X exotic.

It was hard as hell drop that sniper rifle and now, without mentioning it in the weekly update (lines spent on the shotguns and nothing about the Black Spindle...) and now you slam down the light level? As if it is a normal exotic? May I have it from the chryptharc? NO, it's a damn hard secret quest, and I want a decent reward! Do you wanna see us shooting with bananas? I have to double check daily if you want to nerf every single weapon that I drop?!?!?

Anyone read "only the spindle"? No other gun could be BOUGHT at 300, why on earth people think "only the spindle" means they can buy one and upgrade that deserves what came at them. If you spent time figuring it out and looking up guides, I'm not sure how you wouldn't see the post by DeeJ or even hear someone in a video tell you that it was unintended. If you got your sniper reduced, don't just complain on the forums where you were first informed of the "near future patch". Just play the game and hope to re-upgrade it. The darkness continues to spread, get out there and do your job guardian! And if you can't agree that it shouldn't have been 280/290 when bought/dropped you're crazy. A GUARANTEED 310 was way too good to begin with. It's a cool sniper and you had to do a unique mission to attain it. They mixed it up pretty well with that. Hope more like that come in the future.

5 AntwortenGuess what DeeJ A 280 Spindle infused with a 300+ weapon would have been higher than 280+. I didn't do that, but you guys just screwed over a lot of people who infused the blueprint.

How is it my fault that you put the weapon at 300? It's a good sniper with nice perks I decide to use two 310 exotic special to bump my 300 Black Spindle to 310. The Black Spindle should have been 280 at kiosk from the start than I could have easily made it 300 and then bump it up to 310. Don't tell me that you should have seen a post in a forum no kid I'm on here like that. You should've said this in the weekly update. That's messed up how you poop on your gaming community.

Hey DeeJ something to bring up to the management team. Once the 310 Black Spindles dropped and the Devs realized their mistake. Why would you guys/gals piss off your fanbase by nerfing it? It was a pretty challenging weapon to acquire and the mistake was on Bungie's end. Why wouldn't you guys just realize this might upset our fanbase? So how about we just nerf all future purchased 300 spindles and let our fans have their 310 Spindles. Another example of POOR management on Bungie's end.
