I just restarted my character (though I saved my level 71's save data) in skyrim and am doing him to be a Battle Mage type build using a one hand weapon and an illusion spell on the off hand.
What kind of builds did you guys use?
-
My favorite build, and what ended up being my main character was my lvl 63 nord that I got 100 one handed, 100 sneak, 100 pickpocket, 100 lockpicking, 100 light armor, 100 archery, 100 blacksmithing(twice). My favorite thing to do was just fuçk hella powerful enemies up on legendary with a bow while sneaking and being like 10 feet away from them without them noticing me. Ah those were the days.

Speech/sneak/one handed Assassins that can talk his way out of most fights
-
Sneak thief
-
I always default to some kind of sneak build, mainly archer with some dual wield on the side.
-
I've done several, my most recent was a light armor archer with dual swords as back up.
-
I tried to make mine as tanky as possible, with healing and defensive spells. that's what I do with every RPG, I tried a glass-cannon build once and hated it lol.
-
-Max Light Armor -Ebony Blade (NOT an Ebony Sword, I'm talking about the Daedric Weapon) I have it maxed Or either that Sword an Sheild. Then... -Targe of the Blooded -Sword with Fire and Frost Damage. (With the enchanting skill that lets you apply two enchantments.) All of my stuff is Dragonbone. Level 83, and it takes months to level up. I just stache all of my ingredients and metals, then go ham on alchemy and forging, in efforts to keep on legendarying them. So yeah. Thats my run-down on my profile

I'm going to share a simple way to level up your character on PS. Lower the difficulty to minimum, find a mammoth, back yourself into a corner, block with your shield. Level up block to max and "prestige" it then rinse and repeat. My character is somewhere around 120lvl. Just throwing this out there for those who still play, give it a shot it works.

One hand and shield (to use ESO terms). It's the most interesting way to fight in the game, and the higher-level block perks let you do some cool stuff. Dragonform (or whatever) shout + Slow Time shout + tree sap potions to slow time + blockade runner = me charging a group of enemies, launching them all into the air, and still have enough time to pull out your crossbow and shoot them all dead before they hit the ground. That was one of the cool parts of Skyrim combat: the game didn't create epic combos, but higher-level perks and pure chance create some crazy combat scenes.

Assassin Mage, (Daggers, Illusion Spells, Sneak)
-
I don't own skyrim. I will never stop regretting this fact.
-
Paladin. Heavy armour with either 2h sword or sword & shield then mix healing spells and turn undead spells in.
-
These are my favorites 1. All out mage no points in health or stanama just magic 2. Archer / assassin 3. Kill every thing you see
-
Conjuration-focused battlemage
-
Crossbow, Dual Knives, Dual Swords Found a legit way to make a poison that did 2000+ points of damage. Sneaky and persuasive.
-
Sneaky ass archer that is persuasive as -blam!-
-
Conjuration made it so easy. Double dremora lords.
-
Pure tank, enough in various to wield/smith some decent armour and weapons and then everything to increase my HP and stamina or any perk that makes me tougher! Cruised through high difficulty without having to sneak and use a bow!!

Bearbeitet von Oddball: 11/15/2015 10:17:58 PMI made an Argonian Battlemage for RP purposes. Shock spells in one hand and a dragonbone sword in the other.

Bearbeitet von ReignofSpartain: 11/15/2015 11:51:25 PMTwo handed. Then stealth bow and dagger. Then shield sword. Then two sword. And finally mage
-
Id usually do one handed with shield, heavy armor, really sneaking with bow ( somewhat difficult with heavy armor lol but it worked) and smithing
-
My "Build": Make a badass character out of whatever race looked coolest. Punch/stab things until I find a bow. Pick up the bow. Profit.
-
Sword and shield with a mix up of magic in between
-
Meh. I just found Wuuthrad and everything was easy from then on.

Stealth archer/mage Get the perk that multiples bow and dagger dmg. Dagger multiple I'm like 15. Then go to the brotherhood of assassin's and get they're gloved that cause sneak dmg to double. Resulting in 30x multiplyer. Or like 6x I think with bow. Slow down time to line up headshots to increase the critical further. Then fight at a range. Nothing will ever get close because u can get off 2, 3 or more sneak shots before your enemy can even register an enemy is there. If something does live, release the infinite fireball destruction if your wearing gear that reduces magika consumption to 0.
