I find that starting a new character after you already have a "main" guardian that you've had since the beta is truly THE MOST DIFFICULT THING...period.
I've been a hunter since beta and decided I want a warlock for Tlaloc (I -blam!-ing love scout rifles).
I jumped to level 25 and made it to 27 before that "ugh" feeling began to set in. In the back of my mind I know I have a fully kitted out hunter ready to go, but if I want Tlaloc I've gotta grind through this character to do so.
It's odd really, in other games I've had no problem making completely new characters and starting over per se, but with Destiny, it feels like a death sentence.
I'm not going to bash Destiny and say it's not fun etc etc, but something about making a new character when you already know you have a kitted out character is just...tough.

Doing the skill trees, UGHhhhhhhh takes forever. I was light level 295 before I maxed my first tree, and I want all 3!!!
-
Have to bring my warlock up but can't face the mission again..
-
Getting to 300 without raiding. (No time)
-
Boy I had a hunter after taking wanted to make more so did titan wif 25 lvl booster and warlock from lvl 0. They are all 40s so deal wif it winni babies
-
Getting to 40 isn't so bad but maxing out the skill trees is where the real time is. It takes forever. I can't even think of a game where once you hit max level it takes even more time to max out the skill trees than it did getting to max level.
-
Because its so boring and time consuming lol I have all 3 maxed and it gets boring sometimes running everything 3x
-
I feel ya on that. My warlock was my first character that I maxed out, then I took a break from Destiny for a while and came back and leveled up my hunter but it wasn't bad because I hadn't played in a while. Now I want to level up my titan but it sucks because I feel so underpowered and I can't even use all my endgame guns
-
I've got one of each and enjoy switching up once in a while. Better get used to playing warlock if u want to use Tlaloc though. U probably know this already but it can only be equipped to a warlock.

*puts on an antic disposition* Throwing hammers and shooting bows is fun and all, but every time I just think that I could be the emperor right now...
-
Got one of each character all 310+ I just like being able to experience every aspect of each class. Even though it's quite time consuming haha
-
Lvl up just using pvp and its a lot of fun especially if you are using a class/subclass you never played before. It's also much faster. On my hunter I literally played only one story mission just to get to the tower and the rest was pvp.
-
Whatever deleted my hunter because never used him and got second titan to 40 in a day and half it not hard in any way

Bearbeitet von ZeroCool: 11/27/2015 5:55:46 PMBecause of the BS you went through already. Its breaking at the seams and you were unaware of it till you actually started making a new character. You need to rest.
-
I got 3 maxed out and wish there was another so your obviously playing the wrong game mate go get black ops if u haven't already!
-
I can play all three of my characters equally . I just enjoy in different abilities with them
-
I know that feel

Bearbeitet von Tekn0z: 11/26/2015 4:58:05 AMGuess why 2 of my characters are still level 34? I hate playing the story solo. Already did it once. Worst experience ever.
-
It's such a hard life. Boo hoo
-
Had my hunter and warlock at 34 when ttk was out and i just leveled them up through crucible
-
-
Yeah I know how you feel, my hunter I started almost along side my 'lock (I waited till I got to 28 then started) however my Titan I had to restart and it really sucks leveling it back up in TTK.
-
Made all three. For the nightfall drops and raid boons back in year on. Still pull them out but not as much. Maimed a hunter since day one, so that's who I use 90% of the time. Just wish the grind was more beneficial in other areas.
-
I know that feeling. I only play one character--a Warlock--and I made another Warlock thinking if I leveled it up I can play the daily story twice and get 30 Marks per day. Just get the second one to lvl 40 and I can transfer my current gear to my side 'Lock through the vault. Super easy, right? Used a Spark of Light to reach lvl 25, then did bounties and stuff till lvl 30. But after that, I just lost all drive to continue levelling this character up. Wasn't enjoying the grind at all, so much so that I said "forget it" and deleted this new character. Something about starting from the bottum up again in Destiny just sucks hairy, lice-infested scrotums. It's just so boring.
-
Wait till you try to equip it on your hunter
-
Yeah I am in the exact same boat started a titan to relive some fun moments from Xbox can't seem to stick with it
-
You think that's bad, I played on ps4 since alpha, when ttk came out I decided to buy an Xbox one and start playing with some friends. Now that's starting over and that sucks a big one. The worst part is all the little stuff you take for granted, weapon parts, materials and OMG I have absolutely 0 exotic shards and I'm pretty sure Xbox rng hates me cause I have been very unlucky as far as drops go
