Possible New Destiny 2 Leak/News???
So Amazon has put up listings (which have now been removed) for a few new Destiny Mega Bloks/Construx sets and one of them may be a scene from Destiny 2? No images were available.

Their sets have always been accurate to what's in the game and we've never heard of a Cabal "Bruiser" or "Red Guard" before. It also fits in with the leaks a few months back from Kotaku that Destiny 2 will focus on the Cabal as well all the theories surrounding the Towers demise and a possible Cabal Invasion.
The other 2 sets include a Goliath Tank with Zavala and the VoG ship Aspect of Glass. Link below.

On a related note Anyone else having a really hard time Finding the new Mega Construx Destiny sets in stores? I've seen the Hive Horde Attack (loot cave) set at Target. But no one seems to have the Racing Sparrows. Unless you want to pay double on Amazon. I must have that VoidStreak Sparrow.....

4 AntwortenFirstly, to address the confusion related to lack of a Destiny 2 announcement: Bungie learned their lesson already. Remember when they announced stuff too early that got cut from the game and they got crucified? Yeah, it might be in some treacherous waters for a September release, but believe it that when they are sure, they'll tell us. Secondly, regarding the OP's theory...I actually think it's more likely that the Lego Cabal stuff is related to a content drop that we'll get this year to bridge the gap until D2. Needless to say, even if you aren't a hipster Destiny hater, there are soo many good games coming out in the next few months that I'm not really worried about Bungie rushing out any information.

1 AntwortenInteresting stuff. I like the idea of a Goliath tank that deploys troops from it, too. Also, it mentions a gun called 'Answering Chords' and we have one called 'An Answering Chord' in the game now. I wonder if they're similar. More than anything, though, I want that Aspect of Glass ship model. All the ships they could've done and they made my favorite one. Thanks, Mega Bloks.

Maybe the "reason to fight" bungie hinted at was a preliminary assault force from the cabal attacking the tower, since it says Shaxx is fighting one in a hangar. And maybe this will be the Segway for destiny 2?

It does seem possible. In addition, previous sets have included just generic guardians while these are specifically using zavala and shaxx, possibly eluding to them having more involved roles in D2 Or, of course, they could just be cool sets with no ties to D2
