I need your help once again.
Ok so, I am 16, still with my parents and all, and I want to rescue a cat, my mom has no problem with it at all, but my dad has allergies to certain cats, and doesn't want another pet, we have 3 dogs and I have taken care of all 3 more than they have combined. So what should I tell them to try and convince them to let me get one. I know it's their house, and all, but the local shelter I would adopt from has a very very low adoption rate and most animals are killed there, that is my reasoning.

Edit- my main reason for getting one is to help with my depression, and emotional state, I am also a lonely person.

Get a stuffed cat for now. When you wear big boy pants you can get a real one .

1 AntwortenNo sense in making your pops have reactions over a pet. Wait 2 years and rescue when you move out. Rescuing a cat now won't stop countless others from being euthanized after. Can't save em all.
