Due to recent feedback asking for a reduction in the amount of Heavy ammo available in Crucible we are issuing a server-side change to the following modes. These changes should be live now!
Control will now have heavy ammo spawn in at 45 seconds and then every 120 seconds. It was spawning in at 45 seconds and then every 60 seconds.
Clash and Supremacy will now have heavy ammo spawn in at 60 seconds and then every 120 seconds. It was spawning in at 15 seconds and then every 60 seconds.
We don’t have server-side settings to change up the new 3v3 Survival mode but do plan to make the following changes in an update later this month.
Survival will soon have heavy ammo spawn in at 60 seconds and then again 60 seconds later just as the tiebreaker objective spawns. It is currently spawning in at 30 seconds and then every 60 seconds. The amount of heavy ammo granted will be reduced to match the amounts in Elimination and the 6v6 modes. We saw a lot of feedback about making heavy one round or being removed but wanted to make sure there was still an incentive for players to maintain map control and not camp at the edge of the map once they have a life advantage. We will continue to monitor feedback on these changes.

Whoever came up with "Team Scorched" mode in crucible.... No.....just......no......
-
God Bungie! you never lis... oh, yeah wait... I am sure this post will still be riddled with complaints nevertheless.

Bearbeitet von J_Bird77: 10/8/2019 10:13:54 PMThe way heavy worked in D1 crucible was the best way to do it. The way it works now should be that way it Gambit.
-
Of all the requested changes, both before and after Shadowkeep's launch, this is what you choose to act swiftly on?
-
Just have it once a game or not at all
-
Pretty sure people only asked for the change in comp...
-
Bearbeitet von Infamous067: 10/8/2019 7:14:10 PMWhy cant we just have heavy spawn once a match? Thats how it was back in D1 and crucible was really fun that way. The amount of machineguns on pc drives me crazy, sure I can run heavy too but I want to use my primary weapons more.
-
We need more emphasis on gun fights than worrying about fighting around heavy so much.
-
Man, I like the heavy ammo spawns. They were fun!
-
Let heavy spawn only ONCE every round. Oh wait, whatever it takes to cater to new players and casuals. Sorry my bad. We wouldn't want to deny them easy kills, right?
-
tune down the range on high impact fusions while you are at it
-
Why didn't you just repeat what you did back in D1? I try my damndest to avoid the crucible at all cost, but even I could tell that would have been a better idea than to take the "throw darts at a board" approach".

Bearbeitet von Karenius: 10/8/2019 6:40:18 PMHeavy spawning in every single round in survival is terrible. You can't clutch-win a 1v3 or 2v3 like you could back in Trials simply because the enemies got the heavy pickup.
-
Nice! The devs really did a great job with Crucible this season!
-
This is smart. Competitive is not competitive when success often comes from camping an ammo type.
-
Love it! Great stuff Bungie 👍🏻 any more teases for Trials
-
How about increase fusion rifle ammo in pvp? It was fine in destiny 1 so y reduce it in destiny 2
-
This is good balancing. Well done
-
We need to have supers ready per round in survival please I can’t get kills with these marshmallow weapons.
-
That's a start. Thanks for listening and taking some pretty rapid action.
-
Still not enough. It should spawn once per game like D1. That's it. Two spawn locations, once per game, either make a push for enemy heavy, or secure yours, go nuts for a minute, then back to normal play.
-
Bearbeitet von Empyreanzz: 10/8/2019 8:38:51 PMIt should be once a game.
-
Heavy prevents life advantage camping. I approve of these changes and I am glad it will still be on map.
-
Less heavies? Pinch me, I’ve gotta be dreaming. Good job. Now let’s start taking a look at special ammunition.

Bearbeitet von Niinja Slayer: 10/8/2019 8:36:57 PMUh how about no heavy ammo at the start. And heavy ammo spawns every 5 minutes? And please remove heavy ammo from competitive completely. It was so much better in D1!
