It's been bugging me for a ages that high impact fusion rifles are totally busted in the crucible and need a nerf, countless times I have been killed from halfway across the map by these non skilled weapons when I know that I SHOULDN'T be getting killed from the distance that I am killed from.

I hope someone from Bungie has a look at this and passes this information onto the pvp team. Perhaps give them steeper (but not too much) damage fall off?

Precisions and Adaptives are fine as is, if anything they need minor buffs to aid their consistency. A quick-charging Fusion Rifle should be an ideal counter to a Shotgun rush but that simply isn't the case. Erentil and Wizened Rebuke offer so much more consistency and can do it from significantly further out at no cost. On a related note, please nerf Backup Plan. I say this because, with the way the perk works now, you have enough time after swapping to fire off two shots with the reduced charge time. I think the timer should be reduced (or removed entirely, and the perk made shot-based) such that you can only get off a single shot. If you miss the buffed shot, you shouldn't be able to get a second bite at the cherry.
