Rally Barricade Buff Concept
Before Season of Undying/ShadowKeep, Rally Barricade was one of the most useful abilities for boss fights, instantly reloading your weapon allowing for higher DPS, thus making it crucial for raids.
Now, Rally barricade only provides a reload speed bonus, which is nice and all, but most weapons we have in our arsenal that need this buff most already have been spec’ed for high reload speed. In addition, you have to be really close to the barricade to receive this buff.
To buff the rally barricade, I propose a twofold change.
1, Add the ability to “mount” your weapon to the barricade, greatly reducing flinch and recoil.
2, Add a small damage buff (say, 15%) to compete with empowering riftl
The latter is optional, in case that may make Empowering Rift obsolete, but the former would be a great change and give Rally Barricade a use in Endgame activities.

2 AntwortenTitans are getting a big buff today, they have a OHK in 3 sub classes (Warlocks and Hunters have 1) and have very good exotics that buff their abilities and you want more? Warlocks...for example....have the worst exotics in the game and are used to fill holes in their sub-classes not enhancing anything.

I think a damage buff would be fine, then they could roll over and buff E-Rift to let it cast significantly faster. That'd encourage people to use it more often.

No, Empowering rift has twice the cooldown time of rallying barricade

It needs auto-loading-holster. Standing behind the barricade will auto reload stowed weapons while the wall is up. Only viable perk it can possibly have to be worth using.

Thanks for reading.[/quote] At launch the rally barricade used to automatically duck to reload on an empty magazine (if I recall correctly) if not it was stop ADS to duck/quick reload and aim to pop up and continue shooting. I would have been fine with that.

I think reduced recoil with increased reload speed while behind rally barricade is a really good idea. I wouldn't spring for decreased flinch because of the mods though.

4 AntwortenSo Guerrilla Fighter from D1 but instead of a damage resistance it gets a damage buff plus auto loading? Been saying this for quite a while except no auto loading. Cant have the barricade do everything, if you want auto loading then use actium war rig with it. Also believe it or not we already have a “mounting” feature in this game but no one ever uses it.
