Recently my external hard drive broke(had all my games on it) and I had to get a new one, I re-downloaded everything on the new one and it works just fine for all my games, except Destiny 2, every time I try to open it, battle eye opens and nothing happens, occasionally I make it to the title screen, hit enter to load character select, get plum error, sent back to title screen, hit enter again, game freezes during load, so then I try to end task in task manager, that closes the game but under 'background processes' 'BEService.exe' & 'Destiny2' are both still there, and nothing happens when I 'end task' for each of them, restarting my computer gets stuck on the "apps still running" screen, and hitting 'restart anyway gets it stuck there, then a hard reset/power cycle finally closes the game, but then everything starts from the beginning. Verifying the integrity of the files on steam hasn't done anything, and manually uninstalling & installing/running battle eye(and Destiny 2), even as admin, doesn't do anything. At this point I'm out of ideas, and losing my mind with how many issues I've been having in these last two weeks, losing my hard drive and everything on it, all my cloud save data for a game I was just about finished after over 100hrs, this issue, mystery flooding in my room that has no source... maybe I'm haunted at this point... EDIT: This time I got no plum error, the game froze, closed on it's own for the first time, and the only thing in task manager is "Bungie Error Handler" it won't go away on it's own, but I'm afraid to attempt to end task, especially with a name like that. Tried to open the game again, it works now, I don't understand how or why but lets see how long this lasts. I'll just leave the post here for the sake of... something. EDIT 2: Since it's working (for now) different question, my game has alot of really bad stutter, usually when I load in, the longer I'm in the instance the better the game runs, this happens with all my games, and changing quality has no effect on it, recently played through the Marathon series and even stutter at the start of levels in that, pretty sure you could get Marathon to run on a calculator so... idk what could be causing this.
