I could care any less about sbmm, make me face the #1 destiny player for all I care but that connections better be perfect. Destiny is peer to peer and that opens up a ton of BS with lag and hit registration. There will be kills that you and others will question. Since this game will never have dedicated servers, there is no reason to have sbmm. Connection based has always been the better destiny experience for me. Unlike most players that hate facing sweats, I salivate it. I enjoy facing high skill players because I actually learn and get better myself, it’s that mentality that got me top 500 in overwatch and top 1% in cod a few years ago. Destiny is just not a competitive game, it’s too cheesy and casual so there is no reason to even have sbmm. Thats my take on this topic
