Console: Xbox Series X Headset: RIG 800 PRO HX Connection: Ethernet at over 450mbps measured wirelessly I am having a persistent issue where Destiny is seemingly blocking my headset microphone from working and not allowing me to hear party chat, Discord chat, or even send voice messages. I have done absolutely everything I can think of to fix this issue. This issue only started recently and I had not had issues until the past few weeks. What is really strange is that the headset functions 100% correctly until I load up Destiny. Even once running Destiny, I can still hear game sounds and music. But, when I join a party, I cannot hear any chat sounds and my mic absolutely refuses to work. If the game is open, I cannot even send voice notes via Xbox’s messaging because the mic does not pick up any sound. Even stranger is that when I plug in a pair of traditional wired headphones, everything works as normal. As soon as I close Destiny, the headset functions completely normal again. I have done everything from resetting Destiny audio settings, to resetting console audio settings, to trying another RIG headset (older version), to resetting the console, to re-pairing the headset with the dongle, to adjusting volume settings on both the console and headset itself, to trying team voice chat, and nothing seems to work. I am really hoping someone has a fix because I don’t want to spend money on a new headset when this one works completely fine everywhere except Destiny and the wired headphones also work without adjusting settings. Any ideas?
