Potential solution to the Vault Space and Weapon Crafting VS Grind issues.

I know this isn't perfect by any means but I hope you (Bungie) will take this into consideration! It's become increasingly obvious to me and many others that Destiny 2 suffers from problems with not having enough vault space to keep all of their desired weapon/armor rolls, and also feeling a lack of the loot grind to eventually have that "YES!" moment when you finally receive that god roll weapon you've sought after! I know it's only for certain (and not all weapons) in the game, but Crafting, while great in general to get that main roll, and especially for players with limited time to play, has ultimately diminished the core identity of a what a "Looter Shooter" is in that base aspect. It's obviously not COMPLETELY gone since you still have to farm for red borders, but let's face it... There's something exciting about getting that actual drop and inspecting it to find that it's perfect! I think Destiny 2 needs to bring that feeling back while ALSO rewarding the player for their time and investment when grinding, and crafting just doesn't provide that feeling in the same way. Grinding for red borders feels more like you did your chores and now you get your allowance as opposed to finally getting that god roll weapon which feels more like all your hard work resulting in a promotion. (Sub par analogy, I know lol) My potential (somewhat) solution to fix Vault Space and Crafting/Grind issues in one go, is to have a new type of "Extract/Imbue" system where you can essentially "Extract" 1 perk from a weapon that you would otherwise dismantle and "Imbue" it into another (same) weapon. For example, say you have a 3-5 roll Summoner but it's missing Ricochet rounds and Onslaught. You could then choose that Summoner as your Anchor weapon to build off of if you don't have a better one. Then say your next Summoner has Onslaught but nothing else you want. Well, you can now Extract that perk from the otherwise "Salvageable" Summoner to then "Imbue" it into your "Base" Summoner, either replacing an existing perk or adding a 2nd or 3rd perk in a given column. Eventually giving you the initial roll you wanted and subsequently MULTIPLE other rolls in one weapon. Even if capped at 3 total "Imbued" perks per column, that would still DRASTICALLY cut down the need for holding onto say, 6 of the same weapon each with their own rolls (just in case something gets a buff), and instead, only requiring you to keep 2 of that weapon with 6 possible roll options to pick from for different circumstances. You can then use Glimmer/Enhancement Cores/Ascendant Alloys/Etc., to be able to "Enhance" those perks (just ilke crafting). Getting more expensive, (but not unnecessarily expensive), with each enhancement. This would allow you to be able to swap out and customize it in the future with different perks as you wish, without having to "Reshape" the whole weapon for just one roll. Given that we can already get certain weapons with more than one perk in the 3rd and 4th columns, I don't see this as being too challenging to implement (But I could be terribly wrong on that one lol). This would, in my opinion, put more emphasis back into the looter shooter "grindset" for weapons again, instead of the "Just get red borders and you're done" thing we have now. While also making it rewarding and worth your time and investment to grind for them.... Sorry for the long post but I realllly hope this get's some consideration. Thanks Bungie, for all you do :D
